With two new Apple apps, Topps tries to take baseball card collecting into the future.

An interesting read. Anyone have an iPad or iPhone and try out the apps?

One of the new apps—Topps Bunt, available on the iPad— allows you to collect virtual cards, each assigned a point value depending on the player’s performance, and play fantasy baseball against friends and online neighbors.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Topps Bunt somewhat similar to eTopps?

This reminds me whatever happened to those Holograpic video card things they were supposedly going to have a few years back? Guess those bombed faster than they could even start to produce them.

Like Sportsflics ? Or am I just showing my age again. laugh.gif
