With the birth of my son quickly approaching, I've vowed not to buy any new product this year. But.....I've still got that itch so I have decided it's time to get rid of things I have and don't want and work on rounding up the Cardinals cards that I still need from past issues. Right now, I'm just looking for base cards. Specifically, I'm looking for Cardinals base from 2012 Topps, 2009 Topps, 1999 Topps, 1986 Topps, 1978 Topps, 1969 Topps, and 1959 Topps.

Meanwhile, the Cards continue to light up the boards. I have to admit hearing he went 0-3 made me happy. The Angels overpaid for him. It's the only reason the fans aren't calling for Jon Mozeliak's head. I'll take 2 years of Beltran for the price of one for that other guy.

The thing that gets me is how many outsiders I've heard say we're sunk without him. He did nothing for us in October...yes he joined Reggie and Babe with 3 homers in a WS game, but the game was already well in hand.
