QUOTE(drocksthaparty @ Sep 27 2010, 07:34 PM) yeah the spiller was a bad decision, because we can always rely on Marshawn Lynch, I mean Jailbird, we had one runningback that we could rely on. what would you recommend LOCKER? LUCK? Look at their stats, and they are playing in garbage divisions. Put them in the SEC and what do they do? Oh wait they can't even win in their own divisions. You can't take a O Lineman because there is no one that is worth a top 5 pick. So you have to get a QB. damond Locker and Luck aren't garbage. Maybe if Locker wasn't playing for WASHINGTON (who were 0-10 his Sophmore year despite the fact that he played well) he might get some more wins. This is sort of like how people used to say Colt McCoy was a great NFL prospect because he was such "a winner" when meanwhile he was playing for one of the best teams in the NCAA, while other players who were far better prospects (Bradford, Clausen) weren't getting as many collegiate wins. As of now, in the eyes of every scout out there, Locker and Luck are ahead of Mallett. Unless something dramatic happens, all three will be 1st-round picks. It wasn't drafting Mallett that I thought was such a bad idea, it was drafting him 5th overall (which is way too high for his current draft stock).

QUOTE(cardinal @ Sep 27 2010, 05:12 PM) Worst pick of the draft. Hands down. Classic Bills thinking: "Let's draft a player in the top 10 in the ONE position that we actually DON'T need to upgrade, and then only give him 12-15 touches a game and burn away a nice $60 million." While I don't agree with the whole worst pick of the draft comment, Cardinal did nail it when it comes to the position they drafted. Running back is about the easiest position to fill, and the Bills have glaring needs elsewhere... Want some good examples? Jamaal Charles, 3rd round pick Ray Rice, 2nd round pick Tashard Choice, 4th round pick Arian Foster, FREE AGENT Let me know if I need to provide more examples...

QUOTE(drocksthaparty @ Sep 28 2010, 08:30 AM) How many OLinemen end up as busts? Lets look at that, lets go to the Colts oline and the Packers oline and the Pats oline tell me how many of them guys were drafted in the first round? Lets do this game. Ryan Diem – 4th Round Mike Pollak - 2nd Round Jeff Saturday - undrafted Jeff Linkenbach- undrafted Jamey Richard – 7th round Wow, you completely proved your point.... .... the Bills are and have been absolutely clueless when it comes to evaluating talent....

Bills are not the only team with issues and busts.

If you want to start a thread about the Dolphins, knock youself out. I'll jump in. But right now we are talking about the Bills. Who lost to the Dolphins.
