Another heartbreaking loss Why did we go for a 3 when we were down 1. I would've taken it to the hoop, but at the same time it was an open shot. At the time I really though Ray was gonna knock it down. Very, very dissapointing.

The offensive foul call on Pierce hurt us even though it was the correct call, and then Kobe hitting that jumper with the defence all in his face . But at least we beat L.A. a few years back when it really counted.

True that. Ray Ray probably got snubbed by AI overall. As for the end of the game, the call on Pierce was correct, but Artest flopped big time. Also, I would've liked to see TA on Kobe. Ray was with him, but he just doesn't have the length to guard him.

I ll put in m opinion in general of the Celts. I think it would be very dis respectful on there part to trade Ray Allen. Sometimes I think Sheed hurts them. They need another ball handler to come off the bench because house is far from a ball handler and I personally dont think Rodno should have been an all star. He averages 14 pts and 10 asts a game which is great(all tho he does have 4 hofs arguably around him) he shoots 19 percent behind the arc and 59 percent from the free throw line how does a guard with them percentages become an all star? If I were to guard him Id play off him at least 5 feet because he has no shot sure hes quick sure he can handle the ball and sure he can pass. If he improved his shot hed be up there with the best but until he does that I am personally not sold.

I too would love to see Ray stay, but this is a business. Danny Ainge has a job to do and that is win games. He will do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Sheed definitely hurts the Cs at times. Powe being gone and Big Baby being out hurt them as well. Perk has very little depth behind him.

Marquis Daniels is the main ballhandler for the 2nd team. Once he gets back, Eddie can play off the ball more.

Rondo leads the league in steals and almost averages a double double. Also, having 4 HOFers around him isn't that strong a case. Sheed is hardly reliable and Allen isn't even an all star this year. KG has missed a lot of games and is playing at maybe 75%. Also, Rondo shoots almost 54% from the field, which ranks highly among guards.

I've decided that the new fourth quarter plan should be to get KG the ball. He was knocking down all his jumpers tonight. Let's just hope Pierce is alright and TA can keep up his hot streak!

I agree with that game plan Stephen , and i'm glad TA has been keeping it consistant as of late, hopefully that can be a trend for him.

Lets hope we can get a streak going and move up in the East, seeing them in fourth has been a real eye sore as of late on NBA.com

Tom's got the Pistons tonight, hopefully Hump can have a great game for the Nets.

From what I've read he should be back hopefully a week after the all-star break if things go well with his rehab.

The second unit has to fill the void with the Pierce injury now, and KG not being 100% and Ray Ray's inconsistant play as of late. The Raptors and Bobcats are only a few games back now.

I agree! Big Baby seems to be getting back in the swing of things as well. Give him another week or two and he'll be getting more minutes than Sheed. They're in a tight game with the Heat now, let's see if Doc goes with the "GIVE KG THE BALL NOW"" method down the stretch

They won again! Rondo had 14 assists and the team played pretty well down the stretch. It would be nice to see the Cs take a nice 6 game streak into the break.

Paul Pierce is likely out for tomorrow's game, but could be ready to play against the Magic. He also said he is definitely competing in the 3 point challenge, although he is unsure about competing in the all star game as of now.

More good news for the Celtics! A third straight win, Pierce should be back for tomorrow's game, and Marquis Daniels could be back to play the Magic as well! Also, trade rumors for Ray Ray seem to be dying down a bit. No one is going to give up enough to make the Celtics a better team this season. I don't see him going anywhere.
