This is something that I've been wondering about for a while.

Has anyone gotten a hot box that hasn't been full of regular jersey cards plus the one "base" RC auto? I've hit two of them, and both times it's been this way. So, what I'm asking is, has anyone pulled any "multiple mojo" out of a Gridiron hot box?

Don't get me wrong, love this product, but this has had me wondering for a while.

I searched for some on some video sites.. only found one break, one auto and eight jerseys.. There was one nice Bart Starr patch though.

I broke a 2006 (not 2007) GG hot box yesterday (very lucky - this was out of 3 boxes from DAcardshop). The hot box had one unknown rookie auto and 9 patch cards, one of which was a large prime 3 color Marvin Harrison patch.
One of the other non-hot boxes yielded an auto/double patch (one of which was 3 color) Reggie Bush RC! I was far happier with that than anything in the "hot box."

That's exactly what I was thinking.. when you get a hot box it's usually an RC auto of "who?" and a few jersey cards. It's kind of an "oh no" feeling when you notice it's a hot box because it seems the big hits are elsewhere.

Did pull a nice Brady Quinn pull out auto yesterday though!

i would like a none hot box better les hits but the hits are good in a hot box there just plain jersesy

Not sure if it's a hot box or you got some extra hits. All the hot boxes I've seen had 9 hits.

i opened tons of 07 gridiron gear and i did get a few hot boxes that werent just basic jersey and autos...i hit a sidney rice dual patch auto and a ted ginn jr patch/football/patch auto of out a couple hot boxes so it just depends i guess

2005 Zenith was the same way..I think I hit 2 hot boxes that year....and all of the jersey cards were minor players or rookie Roll Call EU jsys... you rarely find nice cards in hot boxes
