Anyone know of a good card shop in Vancouver? I'll be there next month and would love to grab a case of something from someone respected... preferably downtown would be best! |

Canada Post may be going on strike as early as Tuesday, shutting down the mail delivery service completely.
I felt this should be posted since many of us are eBay sellers etc. and shipping delays can kill a seller's feedback etc.

I'd say I'm pretty pleased with these breaks:
Certified:
The hits:

and the big one:
Alex Ovechkin Fabric of the Game Prime Jersey with what I think is a chunk of the shoulder logo on it? (I'll try to get a pic up tomorrow) 18/25
Other stuff:
Lemieux Immortals /500 Spezza Mirror Blue /100 Perry Certified Champions /500 Gagne Mirror Red /250
My first box of Artifacts:
The hits:
Pascal Leclaire dual GU (both white) 146/150 Drew Doughty Treasured Swatches Dual GU (both white) 003/150 Ilya Bryzgalov and Evgeni Nabokov Tundra Tandems Dual GU (one red, one green) 34/75 Michael Neuvirth Auto not numbered? Engeny Dadonov RC 10/35
The rest: Johan Motin Oilers! RC 127/999 Charles Linglet Oilers!! RC 789/999 Matt Duchene Star 098/999 Eric Staal Star 639/999 Nashville Predators Rookie Redemption
The Artifacts wasn't as good (too many white swatches) but I'll call any day a good one when I pull a Prime Swatch of Ovie!! |

QUOTE(urbanmonk @ Oct 27 2010, 12:03 PM) Nice box, always great to get PC out of one too. Haven't seen the product yet, but sounds like not up to expectations from what I have seen so far from folks. I'd say it seems right in line with the Panini FB products, many of which had single-color swatches like this as well. I'm just glad someone other than UD is making hockey cards, to keep them on their toes!! |

I love Panini products and I love hockey, so naturally I'll be buying a lot of this over the weeks... first comment, though, is that the base cards feel cheap. They are a bit sticky and some of their corners aren't sharp coming out of the packs... I'm always going for Oilers, which means this will be a pricey year for me... The inserts: Masked Marvels Blue Pekka Rinne 002/100 Certified Legends Henri Richard 395/500 Collision Course Steve Ott 170/500 Matt Duchene Mirror Red 099/250 Bryan Trottier Immortals Mirror Red 041/250 The hits: Bryan Pitton RC Auto 309/799 (the easiest of the Oilers rookies to hit, but I'll take it!) Zach Hamill RC on-card Auto (sweet auto, too) 0063/1299 Sidney Crosby Mirror Blue GU black swatch 001/100 Duncan Keith Mirror Red Dual GU both Red swatches 46/50 |
