QUOTE(sahetu @ Feb 25 2013, 04:17 PM) I could probably be persuaded to take an empty spot, if that will help any. Thanks for your interest. I should be setting up a new topic before March, just depends on if we have a host, so if you want in you can join as we have at least two open slots. I am current trying to figure out if we have a host for March as Bill has mid-terms. Our issue right now is the impact of the postage increase and the best way to handle it for the group, whether that is reducing our product budget, only shipping "owned" team cards and "hits", or raising the group price , etc. I am looking for members thoughts on which way they think is best way to move forward for March.

I'd be happy to join. I would likely only take hits/rookies/inserts.. I'm not much of a base man unless I'm set building or like a player.

The Wax Wombat moniker has been retired. Doesn't seem right anymore, as I don't own the domain, have that blog, or rip much wax these days.

QUOTE(obert22 @ Feb 25 2013, 08:51 PM) If we need to make a change I would prefer getting all my Bruins cards and just the hits on the other team(s) since I am a team collector. Would it help if we shipped both Bill and I's cards in one package? If Bill is ok with that of course I could hand deliver to him. I understand if he doesn't want to do that but maybe it would be cheaper to do one package to Colorado instead of two? Just a thought that might help a bit. Mark Mark thanks for your thoughts, lets see what other members think. As for shipping Bills and yours together, that is an interesting thought, but I am guessing he would prefer to receive his seperate, however I will keep it in mind and see what he thinks. I know for me it is kind of like opening a Christmas present, even though I know what was pulled it is still fun to open and see what I got.

Yeah, sorry guys, cant host this month, just have to many things going at home, and a vacation time off with the wife and kids at the end of march, I will be in but doubt if I will be around for the break.
I'm good with just the hits, RCs and inserts for mailing to keep cost low, think the base killed the budget last month as far as mailing, I agree with keeping the Boxes under $250 also, SPGU went up at the last minute last month, so covered that also, not what I wanted for hosting the group for the first time, but made it happen! Lol!
Hopefully next month will run smooth with a new plan and budget!
Welcome to the Group Mr. Andrew, didn't know Wombats collected Hockey cards! Lol!
