Hello everyone at TCC. I am back with what I believe will be the most fun and successful break that I have hosted yet. This will be the "Old School" break in which we will be busting NO 2007 product. Everything will be from 2004-2006. I tried to get some 2003 product but my supplier ran out. Here are the boxes to be busted:

2006 Leaf Certified Materials 4 Hits

7 Total Boxes - 28 Total Hits - 16 Slots - $27 per slot (gets you 2 NFL teams)

Here is the best part. This break is "Guaranteed". If you do not receive a "hit" during the break (GU or Auto) I will personally provide you a GU or Auto from my personal collection.

When you signup please post the team you wish to purchase. Your 2nd team will be assigned during a random draw conducted on www.random.org I will video the random 2nd team draw and post to my youtube site after the break fills.

I will begin collecting payments when the break is close to being full. If you can't pay by this Friday 22 March then please do not signup as I believe this break will fill quickly and I plan to order Boxes on Friday.

I will set up transactions after the break happens to avoid running up days on your transaction. However if you would like a transaction set up when you pay I have no problem doing that. ALL Boxes Broken during this break will be videotaped and posted to my You Tube site. Any cards pulled with multiple players will be awarded in this order: 1) Players on an owned team 2) Owner with least Hits (ie. Hits are GU or Autos) 3) Random Draw.

Again I believe this will be one of the most fun breaks anyone can participate it. With 7 Boxes being busted and 28 total "hits" cards will be flying. Don't miss out! Updated signups are below. Please Signup either via PM or by posting in this thread.

It really doesn't matter who nominates a team. The idea is that we'll end up with the top 16 teams in Pool A and the other 16 in Pool B. Everyone realizes that just because you "nominate" the team doesn't mean you'll get them. Your teams will be determined by the random draw I mentioned in the post.

That seems fair. It would give a chance to others who vie for the same team. Can I give you my proxy list?

Ive gotten a few PMs so I wanted to clarify. There is no draft on this break. I'm simply asking break members to nominate a team when they sign up to ensure that we get the best 16 teams in Pool A. Once the break fills I will make a video of the team drawing which will work this way:

The order you sign up in is your number. For example I am #1. I would then put all 16 teams from Pool A into the randomizer. It will spit out a random order of the NFL teams from Pool A. Whichever team is listed at #1 is the team I now own. I'll then do the same for Pool B and Wham-O you have the 2 teams you own for this box break. Make sense?

That is correct. Everyone so far is someone I know or specifically invited to this break. But yes people shouldn't be nominating teams if they aren't actually going to be in this break.

Again my intent here was to do something differant. However I specifically chose boxes that have the potential to yield some nice cards. Specifically the 2005 boxes which could potentially yield some nice hits like Braylon Edwards, Marion Barber, Drek Anderson, Alex Smith, Cadillac Williams & Now Aaron Rodgers. Not to mention all of these boxes contain HUGE hits from your standard stars of the era. This will be alot of fun.

For the sake of confusing less people and also less people being satisfied I'm converting this to the standard buy your 1st team, random your 2nd team. Sorry to all that signed up so far.
