Looks like music offically became extinct for MTV when they took out "music television" from their logo not too long ago. Looks like many teens (myself included) don't really have a problem with that, I consider it more of a 15-25 year old station anyways.

I read this earlier on yahoo. The old MTV was cool. I like some of the new shows on there, not really a Jersey Shore freak (they seem to fake to me). But if thats what brings in the money, after all isn't it about the money?

Always looking for Edgerrin James and Javarris James cards I need!

**MY WANTS**
-2007 topps tx superbowl ticket stub auto versions only. Base set of stubs is done!
-2001-2006 topps tix super tix superbowl ticket stub cards and auto version.
-Colts Super Bowl tickets from any Super Bowl they played in. Prefer full tickets but would be open to stubs as well. Only tickets from the Manning ERA!
-A Super Bowl ticket or stub from the AZ Cardinals and Steelers.
-Any full ticket or stub that has Edgerrin James on it!
-Edgerrin James- Mostly rarer stuff. Also odd ball type items.
-Javarris James- Mostly rarer stuff. Also odd ball type items.
-Any checklist that has Edgerrin or Javarris James name on it!
-Any cards of the actors from Married With Children.
-Ice-T auto- From Razor.
-Some of the Celebrity GU and autos. Mostly famous movie actors I like. Nothing super high end.

MTV stinks since it lost the "music".

During the late 90s/early 2000s I enjoyed watching Total Request Live each afternoon after school (top 10 music videos). Slowly, they started cutting down the videos to 1 minute or less). Now, it's gone of course.

yeah I miss TRL a lot. That's the one thing I have against MTV

Back in the days when cable TV was still pretty much just an option in most areas (some areas have to have cable TV to get more than one or two channels at all). It was also a time when there were NO commercials on the movies channels, or at least the commercials were limited to just between the movies. The specialty channels like MTV just had whatever their specialty was. The Sci-Fi Channel was Sci-fi & Horror with some Mystery and Fantasy NO Wrestling back then, and no weird new nyme lyke SyFy. Now cable TV is standard and there in all practicality no such thing as "FREE" TV. No Broadcast TV anymore (well there is still a little but not very much)

I also miss the days of watching music videos on MTV. Now its flooded with these so called reality shows. Only one worth watching IMO is True Life. If I want to watch a certain music video now I just watch it on youtube instead of waiting for it to pop up on tv.
