First off, exactly how many dimensions does any passing QB have then?

And as far as keeping Vick in the pocket, nobody can, he's that good. And in the games he chooses to stay in the pocket(and yes, there were some games this year when he stayed in the pocket most of the game and were able to still win) the Falcons do just as well as when he runs.

Vick is forced to give up on his recievers more quickly because his line doesnt do any blocking.

I judge how good a QB is on how good he makes him team when he plays. The Falcons are horrible without Vick. In my opinion, Vick improves his teams chances more than any other QB does when he takes the field, which is why I think he is the best QB. You put Manning on the Falcons and he would be AWEFUL, because he needs his line to protect for him. Manning (and most other passing QB's) must rely more heavily on his supporting cast than a QB who has the potential to elude defenders by scrambling.

Wow, why is it that everyone is always ripping on Mike Vick. He's been in the league for 4 years (one of which he was injured). What exactly did Favre do early in his career? or Manning?

The reason everyone believes Vick is bad is because he has had a lot of hype about him early on. Well im a Vick and Falcons fan, so my opinion may be a little biased, but over the past few years ive seen Vick improve each year. Plus, you have to factor in that Vick's recievers have completely sucked, they arent just mediocre, they are straight bad. One bright side on that is they are young and may improve, but in the meantime Crumpler is his only decent target, and he hits him pretty regularly when teams dont have him double teamed.

Another reason Vick has to run everyy other play is his offensive line gets pushed back about 3 yards every time. Manning and Brady each have about twice as long to sit in the pocket and find a reciever.

On the other hand you cant blame everyting on his teammates. Sure there are plenty of times Vick has just made bad mistakes. Vick certainly snt the best passer in the game, but he's not bad either. He's probably about average. What he lacks in that passing game though he makes up for in his ability to scramble. You can make your point that he hasnt won a super bowl, but within the past 5 years he's been in the league, the patriots have won 3 of them (with a chance to win the 4th this year). What you have to look at is how good the falcons are with vick, and how bad they are without him, thats why i believe he's good. He carries his team more than any other player in the NFL.

Texas didnt win because of a bad call. Even should they have called him down chances were they were going to score there. Not to mention they still would have at the very least made a field goal, and since that was the TD where the kicker missed the extra point the most you can take off on that "missed call" would be 3 points. So technically we should be in OT right now.
