Of course I forgot a few stories I'm sure, but....what'cha think?

For me, it's either Megatron's non-touchdown or Barron's hold.

I agree... most of the rest of the choices are about great or poor performances, but I think this play will end up resulting in a rule change or adjustment...

"Baseball players will take anything. If you had a pill that would guarantee a pitcher 20 wins but might take five years off his life, he'd take it" MLB pitcher Jim Bouton about drug use in the Major Leagues... quoted in 1969.

A lot of people are saying that the right call was made, and that it was more of a bad rule more than a bad call. I don't exactly know what this rule is so don't hold me to it.

Well said. Correct "call", but a very, VERY bad rule.

An RB can lose possession of the ball in the endzone and get a TD, yet a receiver has to get two feet, knee/rear-end touching the ground, AND firm control of the ball AFTER he touches the ground.

But according to the rules, if a RB breaks the plane of the endzone with control of the ball, its a touchdown.

The rule states that technically, a player does not have control of the ball until he either a) completes a second "football move", or b)He maintains possession through the ground, neither of which Johnson did.

He did maintain possession to the ground (in my opinion); he hit the ground with his rear-end with the ball firmly in his hand, then he went to get up and the ball hit the turf.

As for the "Biggest Week 1 Story" I think it was the "non-touchdown". As others have said it was the right call on a bad rule.

Now as a Skins fan I am glad the Cowboys blew their last second TD with a penalty. If that holding wasn't there the only thing that would have saved the Skins was a botched extra point attempt, which would have tied the game and sent things into overtime (a very very minute chance). Unless there is a silly rule of when a TD happens after time has run out, the 7th point is automatic?

EXACTLY!

That was my vote, by the way. I can't believe it was called that way. The way the rule is written, I believe it should have been a touchdown. Bad rule, bad call. No one way about it.

I agree with the call being a big thing, but I voted for Alex Barron.

On such a pivotal play, with the game on the line - how can you chokehold a guy when the D is only rushing three at the quarterback?

I voted for the "non-touchdown" because I want to forget about the first option!

Without the holding penalty, Tony Romo was getting sacked. Brian Orakpo was literally within his grasp but was getting too strangled to do anything.

So have I. I've shown it to every football-fan friend I have and even though they all make fun of me for being a Lions fan and go against them every chance they get, not one of them disagreed with me on that play. Every one of them said that was clearly a touchdown.
