I was able to get his Limited AU for $40 on a BO (down from BIN 99) back in January - yeah that was me. I thought I overpaid for it. My brother-in-laws, Knicks fans, told me about him when I was over at their place for Christmas. They were watching the last few minutes of the Knicks game (as they always have because they knew the team was bad) for Lin. I saw him play in garbage time and he was playing hard as if it were the Finals. I like that. That is why I got one of his cards. Even if he was cut. I could look at the card and say "Wherever this guiy is, I know he's playing with all heart." One of my brothers-in-law said he might be cut at the end of the season because he won't get a chance behind Melo or the other PG.
The next one was sold for about $23 to a winning bidder on February 1st. Lin had two good games and someone bought the same card for $250. February10th to the 12th saw a meteoric rise from $400 to a solid well over $700.
Ouch.
I don't know if he can keep up this pace. The Knicks fans may be spoiled now because of the series of good games in a row. IF he brings them to the playoffs, then I can see his AU hover around $200 or so. But with the way the prices are out of whack now? You can get a MJ auto fro the same price - and that's a guy with 6 rings. And I thought $40 was overpaying but I didn't want the hassle of trying to outbid anyone, either.
The LINsanity continues with another great game.

The Knicks were just outclassed in every way. Lin looked surprised at the speed of Miami. Miami did an outstanding job defensively. And this was the first time I have seen Lin get flustered.
First game back from the all star break.
