Here's Topps press release for the 2006 Topps Heritage baseball set. Some of the autos look like they'll be worth chasing. I'm ready.....going to call my card shop tomorrow and see when he will start taking pre-orders for it.

Ohhhhhhhh, I do not do much baseball but this one sounds nice enough to try. I bought a few packs a couple of years ago and pulled a Chipper Jones jersey and Stan "the Man" Musial auto in the same pack. That totally made my day, I still can not beleive the Musial is $120, and is one of my favorite autos. Do you know how much boxes are?? Do they run around $70 presell?

I'm not sure...but $70 sounds about right......you can probably find them cheaper than me...but I buy from the guy in Lubbock out of convenience....doesn't hurt that he's a pretty nice guy.

Not sure on the price thinking $3 - $4 a pack times 24 packs is $72 - $96. I was thinking this was higher priced at around $90 but not sure why. I think I will see what my dealer is asking for a box and maybe have him set me one aside if I do not get killed with tons of Hockey in February.

I wonder who will find the two cut sigs of Mantle and Williams and how much they would go for .. .. would have been really interesting if they modified an original card instead of putting them into a reprint ..

I believe there is an auto and a GU per box and a boxtopper rookie..

also the mahogny parallel...

I love the 57 set..

I wonder if they will use the negative for Bonds card like they did for Aarons 57 Topps..

remember thats the one where it is reversed...

I thought it would be around $70 and for that price I will probably give it a try. I will have to email my dealer, I need to get him to hold me hockey anyways. Thanks.
