I have a feeling my card collecting days are going to be severely limited for a while....at least until my wifes blood pressure drops back down to under 300/210. Her car broke down on her coming home from Lubbock the other day and I finally got it to the shop at about 1PM this afternoon. On the way to the shop I passed the local Chrysler dealership and instead of getting my wifes old car fixed, I traded it on a blue 2004 Chrysler Crossfire, it's a program car with a little over 2,700 miles on it. The dealer is a good friend of mine, and the dealership is a good friend to the police department, so I made out with a pretty good deal, after my trade in, and a little down payment, our payments for the next five years will be a little over $370 a month. Went to the insurance agent, got the old car dropped off the insurance and added the new one and our insurance magically went up a grand total of $163 every six months. Took my wifes new "pride and joy" to the house and she nearly blew a flippin gasket!!!!!!! Something about the extra $126 a month we'll be paying compared to the car payment on her old car, yadda yadda yadda. I'm just glad she's working grave yard shift so I can sleep in my own bed tonight. Anyways, I think most of my card dealing will be by way of trades and the occasional sneaking it in the house from my patrol car after she's already gone to work.
