I ordered 5 boxes.

The first was a TNA wrestling box since it was cheap. I dont know too much about these or if the people are good or not.

Lauren Brooke Auto /25
Tracey Wilde Kiss card /99
ODB Kiss card /99
and an extra hit
Dual auto Mike Tenay and Don West 1/1

It was nice to get a 1/1 but I am not sure who Don West is. I havent followed tna in a while.

The next three boxes were SP signatures.

Ezra Butler-Beaton/Ray McDonald Dual auto
Gartrell Johnson auto
Phillip Wheeler/Korey Hall/Ernie Sims Auto (Lions mojo)
and finally my first personal lions auto pull

Louis Delmas

Those two Lions felt good.

The last box was Topps Platinum and I like what I got

Javon Ringer Auto /1500
Brian Cushing Auto /1500

and Finally i got a huge surprise with this one.....

Dan Marino Auto Patch /110.

I didnt even know veterans were in this. I figured it was going to be more like a BC box.

I was thouroughly pleased with this break. Every box was fun and every box got me excited and happy. I had been on a bit of a slump busting wax, but this break definatley lifted me out of the breaking funk and the funk of working with complete idiots. Thank you cardboard/ink/wax Gods.

Rant over.

I didnt know that about the auto/Gu but was happy to get it since I dont really see to much of his stuff out there. I was just hoping for more than one auto out of the 2 boxes. i absolutly loved the legends box, but i forgot to mention the best card I got. It was a GU from 05 LCM......Maurice Clarrett.

I broke 8 boxes ffrom blowouts sale. they were :

2 Longevity 07: 2 forgettable GU
2 05 Leaf Certified: All pretty horrible except a Deion Sanders Dual GU auto /21
06 UD Legends: Autos of Ickey Woods, Jim Kelly, John Hannah, Terry Metcalf
07 Contenders: Autos of: Kenton keith, Tyler Thigpen, Chansi Stucki, Chris Davis, and Scott Chandler.

All in all I was pretty dissapointed except for the steve Martin, Neon Deion, and the Legends Box.

Good luck to all your breaks

I went to a conference in San Antonio and had some free time so I went looking for a card shop. I remembering Kool Jazz saying something about Whats on 2nd so i headed over. The original plan was to open 1 box, but I had to just keep busting. Off the top of my head the big hits were:

Aikman Gu /100
Montana GU/100
Aaron Curry Dual GU Auto /249
John Mackey GU /99
Austin Collie Auto
Welker Patch (red/blue/white from patriot hat) /50
Cooley Patch /10 (awesome patch with 3 colors and multiple breaks)

I also had a whole bunch of others I cant remember but I did pull three others that were memorable.:

Franco Harris Auto Jersey (white) /25
Warren Moon Auto Jersey (white) /25

and the one that Bruce (owner I think) said would anger all his regulars......

Emmitt Smith Auto Patch (three color) /20.

Sorry for the absence of pictures. I will try to get some up soon, but I think my scnnner bit the dust.

Thanks for the time put in bro. I am glad you got home safe from your tour and I hope that evereyone else comes back safe and whole.

As for the question, I dont collect baseball, but I am really starting to dig the upcoming May as long as Topps doesnt shaft the consumers again lastminute.

I know which way I am going, but I was wondering what you guys would do. In november I want t get my first case of cards. I am either getting a case of 09 Mayo (i did well but was dissapointed with 08) or 09 Bowman Chrome. I have built the las two Bowman Chromes and hav got a little bored with thtem, especially since it will be 10 boxs and i will only get 10 hits and 10 box toppers, but i will be able to get a lot more loose boxes witht eh BC choice. If I go Mayo I run the risk of them short changing the hits, taking out stars and the cards are just decent looking (i give them about a 6/10.) But the new hits seem to be nice, f they are in the packs. Iv likd he design of BC butthey just leave a lot to be deisred for hits. What wqould you do?

I know some people hate thesequestions. I am ony asking to see what you would do in the circumstance. I already know what I am going to do.

I have an 07 Bowman Chrome autographed Printing plate. It is framed so it has a card like outline. Should I get this graded. It has sat in a screwdown for a year now, but I am unsure of sending it in. Would this be a waste?

I want to show these and a few other hits, but I am afraid of photobucket now. Does anyone know of another place to keep photos, or what is an easy way to post on here?

I will try to get scans up tonight. THe quad GU was actually the second one I pulled. About 2 weeks ago I picked up 2 packs of Limited from the local shop and pulled a quad of Boldin, Edgerin James, Larry Fitzgerald and.......Leinert!?!?! I was happy at first, then I saw it was Leinert and not Warner. Ah well. Still nice pull from 2 packs

Good luck on the Limited. MOJO to you and I hope you pull a peterson rookies auto out of bowman!

Thanks for the mojo. I think I am spent on the bowman chrome. That is the reason I collect. Last year i just walked into the store here and got a pack of 07 bowman chrome and pulled an AP autoed printing plate. I have been hooked since.

I put in a shipment from blowout since those weekend specials looked too good to pass up. Of course when I actually pull the trigger all of the sweet spot is gone. I ended up going wiht 08 Limited, 07 absolute, 07 contenders, and 07 bowman chrome. I will keep you updated.

I also bought 2 packs of retail Mayo from the BX and pulled an auto. It was John Carlson. I have never had so much luck with a product (at least in blaster format)

I opened another blaster of Mayo and got another hit. I am now 5 for 6 with the non-hit having box yielding a horse, 2 ships and 3 colored backs (non-numbered though). THe hit this time was a Eddie Royal auto. Thant brings me to autos of Wes Welker, Eddie Royal, Brandon Flowers, Funkmaster Flex, and a GU of Jeff Garcia. I really need to sort through all my cards to see what SP's I have.

I also got 4 packs of Heritage from the local shop and pulled my first letterman. My wife was very confused as to why I wasnt excited and how I pulled a presidential letterman. I explained it was manufactured and that answered both questions. THe letterman was of Harding and it was the R if I remember right.

I had figured I got really lucky with the 1st box since I pulled a Welker Auto. I expected nothing in the second, but in one of the last packs I got another auto. This time it was Funkmaster Flex. I seem to remember him as being a short print. Does that make his auto rare alos, it is unnumbered. I will check on the SP and list them when I get back to Texas.

I had planned on getting a couple hobby boxes of Mayo, but then a business trip took me away from home and I saw everyone hating the product so I picked up a Target box of Mayo. I cannot remeber the cards off the top of my head, but I did pull an auto. It was a Wes Welker mini card auto'd in blue, but it was in a plastic like card frame. Is this a rare card, or are all autos this way?
