I was going to say "depends" but that would be it's own joke.

It has been a while since I've "used" my photobucket, but I have checked it from time to time to find pics of stuff I sort of remembered having somewhere online. Now days I mostly just link to stuff on my blogger (blogspot) blog, even if I have to just upload a pic to my blogger photo album without actually being "on" my blog(s).

I have heard about people using flicker for those who have not switched all their trading card posting to Facebook or Twitter or Instagram.

A few days ago someone somewhere mentinoed imgbb. I checked it out and reminds me of Google image searches.

I rarely even think about photobucket anymore. It cracks me up now days when I see posts on forums when the old saying "Check my Bucket" is used.

ACK the earlier part of this thread (and the early part of my TCC Blog when I posted images on it) has been ravaged by the recent Photobucket "YOU haven't UPGRADED to the NON-FREE MEMBERSHIP so We will block your photos from 3rd Parties" Image. I had recently looked over some of those older posts to see what I had shown way back when. UGH Fortunately it looks like I can still access my Photobucket account at its source so I might be able to "save" some of my Photobucket only images. Also in recent years I have mostly relied just on blogger (blogspot) to share photos/images. I held onto photobucket mostly because it had been the first and easiest site to use with Ebay.

What a nightmare reminds me of several years ago when Yahoo got rid of their Photo Album and later their "briefcase", when they did away with the Album I lost tons of images fortunately most of "those" were not very important and were obtained from other sources not my own original photos.

Whoever says "If it's on the internet it is there forever" does not use any of these free image hosting sties that go under after 5-10 years.

I've got a lot of work ahead of me.

Yes, been getting back into my collection, buying packs and going over my lists. Joined a couple of collecting groups on Facebook, have yet to do anything on there yet. I don't quite know what to make of them yet, they seem pretty well organized and administrated. Only drawback for me is they require Paypal to buy or sell, so I may just stick to trading as much as possible.

Facebook and Twitter seem like odd platforms to do card trading on in my book. It should be obvious since they are SOCIAL sites, but I just think of them as places to trade cards. As for Facebook my biggest reason for NOT joining any of them is that I don't want to bore family and close friends, and especially just acquaintances with my trading card obsession. Just as I wouldn't want to see a friend's obsession with Doll Collecting on my Facebook newsfeed. Yes yes I know there are ways to block, manage who sees what on your social media sites, but they are not foolproof and sometimes there are leaks.

I first saw him in re-runs of Mission Impossible in the early 1970s, but didn't "Know" it was him until much later. As a kid I never thought about the "who" they were I just watched the movies and TV shows. If I recognized an actor then I might start remember who they were. Space 1999 was the first that I remember seeing him in. Loved that show.

I was a bit surprised by it. A major change for the show.

3 or 4 years ago I would have been very angry about the decision, like if James Bond was changed to Jane Bond.

Now I am accepting of it. I hope she does what Peter Capaldi did and does such a wonderful job and performance proving the "he's too old" nay-sayers wrong and that it won't matter the character is now female. Capaldi showed that Mid-to-late 50s was NOT TOO OLD to play the Doctor. At 55 he started the role the same age that the Original actor William Hartnell was when he started. Although he was a healther 55 and finishes at 59 where Hartnell at 55 was ailing and just a few years later had to leave due to his failing health.

sad.gif I love Grace. First saw her in Battlestar Galactica as the genderchanged Boomer. The original series Boomer was a black male. It has been a while since I've watched any Hawaii Five-0 last time was late last season. It used to be one of my "must see" shows, but things change.

Sad.
A bunch of years ago (around 1998) when I was doing Children's theatre, I was in a production of "The Adventues of a Bear Called Paddington" as Mr. Henry Brown. The father of the family that adopts Paddington. Yes I did have a pratfall or two during that show. I recall one of the first scenes when the Brown family first meets Paddington at the station, I had to fall into a pile of suitcases, well technically behind the suitcases for safety's sake, and then attempt to get out of the pile.

Wow. That is amazing. Yes that would be very difficult to beat, or even tie. One goal every 7 seconds. To beat that it would have to be 5 seconds or less for each goal.

Its bad enough when people break into cars and steal stuff. When they break into a musician's car and steal expensive equipment and instruments it seems to be much worse. Sometimes the instruments have great sentimental value, not so much the Dollar value but what that instrument means to the person who plays it.

Cool. Nice that the '74 Highlights card (1975 #2) is a well "loved" card.

Reminds me I really need to attend to all my binders and get my mostly unorganized batch of cards organized.
