Hi, Everyone. My area of the world got 10+ inches of rain in a matter of 12 hours a couple/few weeks ago, and we had some flooding in our basement. We did not get it as bad as many other people's houses around us, but got it nonetheless. My beloved Dan Marino lithograph #/5000 with certificate of authenticity was completely destroyed by the water in our basement, and it wasn't even close to the ground! Insurance did not cover it, unfortunately. This was a keepsake for me since it was given to me by an old awesome friend who I shared my love of sports card collecting with, and he's got one of the best vintage collection I've ever seen. This is what I remember him with.
Here is a picture of it from years ago when it was in pristine condition and framed. It's been in the gallery of this site for a long time.
http://www.tradingcardcentral.com/gallery/...e.php?pos=-9324I've been looking online for a replacement, but I've only come across one that is being sold for wayyyyy too much.
Anyway, I'm hoping someone will be willing to trade a nice Dan Marino card for something that I have that saw no water. I have a Lou Brock auto 8X10 photo, an Andruw Jones IP auto card, a Kirby Puckett IP auto card, a Michael Jordan baseball metal card set, some Ken Griffey Jr. RCs, plus many others you can see following this link>
