I'm new to the steals section, so I'm not sure exactly what classifies as a steal. Below is an item I just won on eBay.


In my opinion, this is a steal. However, it may not be to some of the people on here.

How can you tell it's fake? I don't do football so I have no idea what these cards should look like. The card and sig are comparable to the others on ebay.

07 Rookie Premiers are notorious for being faked. The seller may not know that, so he could be an honest guy. If you closely compare it to Quinn's real signature you can see inconsistencies.

I'm no PSA grader or anything, but the signature looks like the others that are up for sale on eBay as well as other Quinn autos that I've seen up. Granted, I have no idea if the player issued cards are supposed to be signed or not. If not, then I've been had and I'll just take the loss.

Oh well.

The player issued cards were only signed if the player himself signed them, which is not the case.

Here is a legit Brady Quinn auto:

Notice the numerous inconsistencies with the two autographs:
1. Brady's Auto always is slanted to the right. The auto on your card is straight up and down.
2. Brady makes the line on his B with two connecting lines, your auto only has one line.
3. Brady has no space in the loops of the "rady" in Brady, he just draws lines which look like I's, your Auto has spaces in the loops.
4. Brady does not end his name with a tall straight line, as yours does.

Im pretty sure only the "Red" Rookie premiere autographs are fake. I may be wrong.

I noticed the inconsistencies from a few of the autos that are up for sale on ebay that are legit. However, I've seen Quinn autos that look almost identical (to the naked eye) on items that have COA's on them.


Below are three autos I have as of right now. As you can see, they all look slightly different than each other, however, they're all certified.








Not saying you're lying or anything like that at all, you could very well be right about all of this. I really appreciate your honesty, and I understand you're just trying to educate me considering I'm new to buying on eBay and should probably watch myself a little more carefully when purchasing autos that aren't certified.

I'm simply trying to stay optimistic. If it's authentic, great, I got an awesome PC add for a steal price. If it's bogus, oh well, I'll just cut my losses and deal with it. I've wasted fifteen dollars on worse things before *cough*Girlfriend's nails*cough*

Know Idea on authenticity, but if it's real. Nice Card!!
