Just wondering, I have posted, and have saw several postings in regards to this project but they go without reply(which seems odd)

Thanks

I'm hoping to have a complete update on OpenChecklist.com within the next few weeks. Bottom line is that the project is still something that I believe needs to continue and am trying to keep alive. However, a re-adjustment of resources is needed to make that happen.

Thank You Bob.

I think, actually I know.. many feel the same way, hopefully everyone will have the same mindset and time to make the continually updated O.C project a reality.

My task is to assemble the resources to make that happen! The foundation is certainly there. Now, we need to build on it. wink.gif

This could really put this site over the top. LMK where I can help...althought I'm not very computer savy. There are several posts by members that seem to have a little ( if not alot) of expertise in this area. Thansk Hector.

Bob, if the time I have already put in just entering my personal info isn't evidence enough of my dedication to openchecklist.com, please let me know what I can do to get on board with you. I've got the time and technical knowledge to help out and make this more than what it is.

yea bob we need to get the reins in someones hands atleast to get the ball rolling, i think the whole 3/4 of the year that i've been a part of the overall site, i havent noticed a single thing done with openchecklist. i know its your baby along with jim? but i think its about time we get some trust worthy capable bodies involved soon. i guess it might not be imminent, like "get some capable bodies involved or what?" but i really think you could show someone the ropes who can invest their time right now at working things out that are getting past due.

Once an underlying issue is resolved (hopefully in the next few weeks), the next step is to work with those who can help develop a user interface to enter and update the checklist data.

Then, we'd certainly be looking to add checklist editors who can help with entering and maintaining the data.

Point is that there should be various opportunities for members to help.

Stan,

As mentioned above, there's an underlying issue that needs to be resolved first. That's what I'm working on at the moment. Then, I believe there will be increased opportunity to move the concept along.

Jim has had significant changes in his work and family situation (proud Daddy) since the project began. Because of that, we need to re-evaluate the resources for this project.

Checking back on this, been 2 months since the thread was started, over 1 year since any update on openchecklist.com

Even posting once a month saying there is no change or update is better than leaving the users in the dark.

Hi Bob,
I am willing and able to assist with this OpenChecklist project. Would you be able to send a PM and share what your thoughts are on it.

My Bi-annual plea; Hello anyone associated with the OC project.

Having been an early adopter, and huge fanboy of this excellent idea-hobby resource..
I still get a few emails/questions regarding the site & issues but can't offer anything. I'd like to, but have gotten burned to many times.

Thanks for any insight into the project(re: who can be contacted.)

The TCC Team does not have access to the O.C. files to do fix anything. Only Bob_TCC has access to those files. He has other things going on in his life that are more pressing issues than TCC or O.C..

I thought nerk01 restarted this project on a different domain name. I'm not sure if it's completely working, but it has been updated within the last 4 months. The new domain is http://www.openchecklist.net/.

I can fully appreciate that FinestKid, but this is where I found out about OCC ~5 yrs ago, figured this was a good place to try and get a response. My posts where 4 Years apart, not like I was being pushy or inconsiderate.

Anywho...your post was the first correspondence to any question in quite sometime. Greatly appreciated.

A PM is on the way.

The subject and answers to your query are
much too involved to respond in this thread.
