2009 UD DRAFT EDITION HALF CASE GROUP BREAK

PRODUCT RELEASE:
May 26th 2009
5 Autos Per Box (on average)
BREAK FORMAT:
-16 spots
-1 spot = 2 teams
-Teams will be drafted. Draft order decided by random.org
-$38 Per Spot
-Payment due no later than 5 days after break fills!
-Team draft will take place BEFORE NFL Draft (if all spots are filled & paid)
-TEAMS DRAFTED AFTER ALL PAYMENT RECEIVED
Due to the large amount of base veteran cards in this product, I will not be shipping out duplicates of the base cards, I'll only be sending one(1) of each player. I WILL be sending ALL rookies, and inserts. (Unless you absolutely insist on having all the dups, then I will be more than happy to send them to you)
I send all hits in top loaders/mag holders/screwdowns and all others
placed in a team bag and carefully packaged in a bubble mailer shipped
with delivery confirmation.

Some bad news... Surprise Surprise... Upper Deck has pushed the release date back on this product 20days! It's not set to release on 5/26. Hopefully this means they are expecting on getting more of the on card rookie autos in hand instead of loading the product with redemptions.

I just checked my PayPal email address and noticed the tracking information email sent to me for this shipment. I must have overlooked it a few days ago. That link has been posted in the original post of this thread.
However, we seem to have a slight issue. For those of you who were in my my 2nd case break of 08 SP Authentic a couple months ago you know that I ordered that case through Atlanta Sports Cards. You also know that the case was sent to Portland, OR instead of to me in Nashville, TN and took an extra week to get re-routed back to me. After talking with the owner after the ordeal and getting his apologies I told him I'd be willing to give him another chance.
I took that second chance on this 6 box order of 09 UD Draft Edition. He insured me that a mix up like that would not happen again. I also spoke with the owner via email last Friday in which he said I'd have the boxes on the release date which is today.
Well, if you click on the tracking link provided, you'll notice that it says the boxes are due to arrive in, yes, PORTLAND, OR on 5/29/09! It happened again. There is absolutely no reason on my end as to why this happened. I paid via PayPal with a confirmed Nashville, TN address. I've never lived in Portland, OR nor have I ever had anything shipped or had a Portland, OR address linked to my PayPal account.
I just spoke with the owner on the phone and I am awaiting a call back from him after he researches the issue. Needless to say I do not plan on using Atlanta Sports Cards for my group breaks orders again.
I'm sorry this has happened for the second time.

Owner said he called UPS to have the package re-routed to me in Nashville. Last time they did that, it still ended up going to Portland, OR before it made it's way back here. He said though that UPS told him it should show up here in a day or two.

UPS shipping shows that the boxes are now on their way back from Portland as of today. Again, the tracking link is posted on the original post of this thread.
I'm continuing to talk with Atlanta Sports about this issue happening for the second time. They have asked what I'd like to be done to make this right and have at this point offered a discount on a future order...however I'm not really seeing myself placing another order for a group break at least at this point. I'd really like to see them make something happen for you guys in this break. I'll keep everyone posted as I find out more information.

I almost always go with Balenac (they actually sponsor me) but I didn't get them this order in time and they only carry the newest stuff and once they are out they usually don't reorder. So, my fault for giving ATL a second chance, but I did not expect this!

Just got an email back from Atlanta Sports concerning the issue. As I stated before they offered a discount of a future order. I responded saying I don't feel a free box or two for the group would be out of line considering this happened twice now.
Well, the email I got back basically says he'll compensate for the mistake on the NEXT order. Needless to say, not exactly what we were looking for here.
I have to apologize to you guys again...if anyone else has any suggestions on the matter please post here or PM me. At the end of the day though, Atlanta Sports will NOT be used for any future group break orders.

I wish you guys could see and know how P.O'd I am! I missed the UPS driver by 5 minutes at my apartment. I called the number on the slip (before 7pm) to arrange a pick up TONIGHT as the slip says I would be able to.
I was then told over the phone that the request was put in and I'll be able to meet the driver and pick up my package TONIGHT. They said I would get a call within the hour stating when and where I could go to pick it up. So, I start the live ustream broadcast just waiting for the call from UPS and then I was on my way out to pick up the package.
After 40 minutes without a call back I check the tracking website and see that the pick up was requested and then 30 minutes later said "the customer was contacted and pick up arranged" NOT SO! I never received one call from UPS and they had both my # and my wife's!
I immediately called UPS back asking what in the world is going on...they then proceed to tell me that the package won't be able for pick up until Monday! I tried to be nice and explain I was told just 40 minutes earlier I would be able to get it. They tell me 95-99% of the time that is the case but today is Friday and most offices close at 7 before the drivers get back and that no one would be there to give me the package.
I then asked why does the web site say I was contacted and this was confirmed with the customer when it wasn't? She didn't have a straight answer for me and again said nothing can be done until Monday. That's when I got angry...she put in an "urgent" request to the Nashville office stating my frustration and she said if someone is still in the office they should call you.
Still no call and nothing else I can do until Monday! We've all waited TOO LONG for this break, it's almost ridiculous! I'm doing everything I possibly can for you guys to make this happen. First UD pushes the release date back, then Atlanta Sports ships it to Portland AGAIN and now this.
