16 Members. You pick your team. The 16 remaining teams will be picked by a draft held each month.
Fee is $25 a month. That buys $360-370 of hobby boxes each month for us to bust and pays for shipping & supplies.
You get all base, inserts, gu, autos, ect of your teams that is pulled from the boxes.
Duals go to the member who gets least amount of Autos & Gued from his owned team. (of course the member must own the team that is part of the dual smile.gif)
Duals pt 2 - If a dual involves a owned team and a drafted team...the owned team gets the card.
Duals pt 3 - Tie - Serial Numbered cards are counted along with the autos & gued cards.
If you fail to pay by the DUE DATE, YOU will not participate in the break. Your team will be sold and your membership forfeited.
NEW RULE, STARTING THIS MONTH:
If you're interested in changing your owned team, you must do this before the draft. If you change owned teams, you will automatically be put at the bottom of the draft order for the current month.
TRANSACTIONS: Within ONE week prior to our break or soon after the break occurs, our breaker will create transactions for every member involved. Please make sure you confirm/agree on YOUR transaction thread.
FUTURE MEMBERS: Please understand that there is a waiting list. If you would like to add your name to this list, then please contact WestCoastSkinsFan . When a spot is relinquished, the 1st person off of the list is notified. Anyone who can pay the monthly fee can join. We have ZERO restrictions.

I would like to address one minor rule change that has been brought up a few times in the past, and I'd like to put this to a vote:
If you're interested in changing your owned team, you must do this before the draft. If you change owned teams, you will automatically be put at the bottom of the draft order for the current month.
I'd like to see this happen, as we can avoid the potential of someone switching to a newly hot team, and taking away the potential high draft pick of another member.
Your thoughts? If this suggestion doesn't need to be modified, I'd cast my vote in favor of adopting it.

I agree. I would also like to add that I think if someone is switching teams, because they are "hot", etc.... they should own that team for 2 or 3 months before switching again.... Most have the teams that they collect and a few like myself are in the break to be in the break, get a "hit" or builds some trade bait..... I just think it would benefit the group to have the opportunity of other quality teams to choose from...IMO....

I liked the Contenders. Really nice to get four autos out of a box. Also you normally get one decent to good hit.
On the rule change, it was originally suggested because people were switching every month depending on what we were breaking. I will probably switch when we start opening next years draft class. I don't mind at that time droping to last pick for that month.

I have no problem with Contenders. Suggest a configuration with that, if you'd like. I only left it out because it looks like the price spiked a bit.

it was a yes
actually i like the idea of multi's being randomized if both(or all) teams are either owned or drafted.. One person could get two scrub GUed and the other person hits one really huge auto then a dual comes and the person with the better hit gets two awesome hits. We have only done this once and I think it was road runner and I if not mistaken. Just makes it a little more exciting for at the end of the break to know you have a chance at one of the hits. Just an idea

I'm in, even though our £ is taking a battering against the $ at the moment.

Just as an update, the 7 responding members are in favor of the new rule. I think that if 75% of members agree, we could should probably go for it, so let's keep the votes rolling in.

I like the new rule proposal. Think if you change teams, you should be locked into that team for atleast 3 breaks personally.
I like the SP Auth option as far as boxes go.....enough SPX already and those 16 tiers per card

I know at least one of our members mainly collects it, and I don't think we've opened any this year, so I'm giving it a shot. Worst thing that could happen would be it being voted down!
Please do make up some more configurations though, the more ideas the better!

What is everyone else's opinion on Triple Threads. I know it is a good amount of money for two hits, but they are generally pretty good hits.
I had a thought for SPx, Bowman Sterling and a few others we missed. In a couple months when no new product is coming out, I think more people would be inclined to open it. Especially when the only stuff new out is Aspire, Sage, Press Pass and things like that. Would allow us to get one of those boxes and still get some nice hits.

Depends on what and how much. I'd probably need a few extra bucks here and there to make that happen, though.
I always like 05 LCM or 05 Rookies and Stars Longevity. They're in the $45-$50 range.

I don't think it'd be a problem. I skipped a month last year with no issue. If it's a matter of money though, don't worry about it! I know you'd be good for it if you needed to get me back slightly later than normal.

The rule about missing a month has always been if you are a member and can't pay for one month that someone else could buy your team for how ever long or someone from the waiting list can take over a team for a month and knowing they are going back to the top of the waiting list. The person skipping the month needs to make sure they are checking in though so we know if it is permanent.
Not sure if that was an official rule or not, but that is the way we have always done it.

If the group as a whole would be interested, we can actually start breaking as soon as TOMORROW.
My local shop is getting in SP Authentic, and when I told him a bit about the group break, he offered to cut me a pretty nice deal.
Sooooo.... if people are interested, keep the payments coming. We can't break until we have everyone accounted for, and we'd still have to wait for SPX to get shipped, but we can start VERY soon.
Unfortunately, I don't know how realistic this is since we have 10 payments to go AND we still need to draft, but if you're interested, drop your fellow members a PM! See if we can get this going.

Weeeeeell... looks like a slight delay. I took off from work early to head to the shop for SP Authentic, and his distributor either had a delay or sent him the wrong thing (I didn't get the exact reason) but SP Authentic didn't come in today. He's looking at either Saturday or Monday, at this point.
So, it'll still be earlier than if it were being shipped, but I'm not QUITE as cool as I thought I'd be with the early boxes. I'll keep you all posted, either way.

Wow.. what an amazing selection of teams to choose from. 
Lets see.. none of the 4 really have any rookies to speak of.. I guess I would have a slightly better chance at such superstar rookies as Dexter Jackson, Aqib Talib, Owen Schmitt, Josh Johnson if I went with the Bucs, Seahawks or Jags... but would I really feel like I got a "hit" if I got one of them?
Not really, so I guess I will pass on much chance at a rookie "hit" and hope to get some "old school" mojo with the Browns and Jim Brown. Probably not going to happen, but if it did, it would actually be something I would want.

Okay, as a box update, it looks like UD is claiming "packaging errors" on SP Authentic, so the new estimation on getting those locally is 2/3.
As for SPX, the order was placed through Blow Out Cards on Saturday. Here's the tracking number:

So, here's what I can tell you guys. I am going to use EVERY avenue to have UD make this right. I'll e-mail, use the website, call, etc etc. I'll write formal letters if I need to. I will be cordial and overall classy, BUT, if they pull the "on average" crap with me, I will officially go to town.
If you don't know me, I'm an insurance salesman. I will hunt them down via phone with a cheery attitude and harass them until they give in. I LIVE on the phone. I'll get all official-sounding on them, and I will make them cave. I will ask for their supervisors and the supervisor to THEIR supervisor if need be. This REALLY gets to me, especially since this is for the group.
I promise you, I will make this right.

However, it looks like one of my personal boxes and one of the group boxes didn't record correctly. And the ones that DID record are rife with sound problems. The people watching the break did let me know about the sound issues, but I didn't know it was almost completely unlistenable until afterward.
We do have pictures of the hits, but one of the mem/autos was missing in action. I've already contacted UD and sent in the hologram/barcode, so it looks like we WILL be getting a makeup hit.
I'm tinkering with things, trying to get the video to go more smoothly for SPX on Monday.
Did you guys want me to re-record the first SPA group box, btw? It wouldn't be much more than a recap, but I want to make sure everyone is satisfied, if possible.

The SPX is officially out for delivery. If they're able to get it to me when I'm home, we can break tonight at about 7:00 or 8:00 PM, Pacific.
They do require a signature at times, and I'll leave them a note if that's enough. About half the time though, I have to go out to their facility. They usually don't let me do that until 10:00 PMish, which would be pretty late.
If it comes down to that, would you guys want a late-night break TONIGHT, or around 7 or 8 on Tuesday?

Well, man, mysteries upon mysteries. The sound DID get better on the video after pack 3, but UStream keeps saving things bizarrely. It has my video at something over an hour and a half long, and I don't think it was actually more than 20 minutes. If you scan along, it hits a part where it unfreezes and you get *gasp* video AND sound.
I'm actually going to do a recap video of all the boxes, now that I think I have everything worked out. That, and pictures will be up shortly.

Yet another update! I'm staying on top of UD on this one, looks like the group break claim has been processed. May not have mailed yet, but it will shortly. I wish they'd be a little better about consistancy (the last person I spoke to said that I'd have it in hand by now, and now it may not have hit the mail) but I'm thinking we'll be just fine.
Also, (as I was hoping) they're clearly labeling which is the personal claim and which is the one for the box break, so we don't have to worry about any weirdness with getting two in the same package, and dealing with who gets what, etc.
