Hi everyone,
My name is Bud and I'm going to be the TCC Racing Forums team member. I've been into anything with wheels since I got my 1st tricycle so many years ago. So even if you don't collect racing cards but you love the sport this is gonna be the place to talk with others about it.
I used to be a BIG Nascar fan till the death of Dale Earnhardt now I just kind of keep up with the series & watch the big races. I'm a HUGE fan of NHRA and try to get to 2 or 3 events a year, if you've never been it's hard to explain what your missing, it's a full body experience. NHRA is also one of the best values in live event sports, a 3 day ticket is very inexpensive & NHRA is absolutley the MOST fan friendly event you will ever attend. If your a motor head you owe it to yourself to attend at least one event in your life, you will return. You get full access to the pits at all times, the drivers and crew if not busy turning wrenches or on the track will gladly talk to most anyone.
I've also attended 15 Indy 500 races, my step father has contacts at the track and we get into the pits which is a blast. The best time for auto's is either at the meet & greet a day before the race or in the pits if you can snag a pass.
So if your into anything from Soap Box Derby racing to Top Fuel feel free to post anytime. If you've got any cards from the sport show them off here, if you have any cool memoribila take a pic and let us see your collections.
