I want to hit 1500 members by the Super Bowl and 2000 members by Opening day of Baseball season..

Heres the deal.. whether it happens thru natural assimilation to our fine boards or thru aggressive recruiting on each members part at card shows, Im with traders from other sites...word of mouth..Ebay whatever...

If we can all get together and hit these two goals...

I will personally double any prizes won by the winners in any of my free contests listed below..

The Olympic Hockey tournament Ill change $30 into 60

The weekly NBA basketball Pick 3 players contest ill change weekly $10-15 to $20-30

and the yet to be announced Opening day baseball contest..which already has an 60 BV prize attached to it

to define doubling - it means I will double the prize BV to whomever wins!!

Now get out there and spread the word..Ill know cause I watch that member count..nobody has to fight about who recruited who either... Everyone will be rewarded who plays and wins the contests!.. We are one unifed team here and We need to see how this TEAM can move the ball down the field (insert your own fedex commercial here about football analogies)!!

If that aint enough incentive to do it now I dont know what is... this is also posted in the Olympic Hockey contest...

We're now at 1423 members with over 8 days to go until the Super Bowl kickoff. Since we're averaging 23 new members per day during January, 1500 looks like an easy target.

Well, we're now at 1501 members which means that we've reached the first milestone for doubling the prize packages! Not only did we reach 1500, but we did it with a week to spare.

2000 is on its way!

Ok, I want to make this really interesting... So, here's what I'm going to do...

If TCC can become the 3rd largest forum based on total members by the 1-year anniversary of our Opening Day (4/4/06), I will personally double the value of Steve's prize packages.

So, Steve's $60 becomes $120 when he doubles it and then becomes $240 when I double it!

Here's where things stand now:

3. The Bench - 3466 (added 179)
4. TraderRetreat.com - 1730 (added 40)
5. TradingCardCentral.com - 1515 (added 783)

Does this seem impossible? Well, the added number in ( ) equals the number of new members on each of the 3 sites since 12/14/05. If we only rely on our current growth rate, we're very likely to reach 3000+ members by our 1-year anniversary.

With even more of your help, 3rd can be reached!

Here is what I am doubling so far

I will double the prize pack in the Super Bowl Predict 3 contest and the Pro Bowl Contest next week.. and If no one wins the super bowl predict 3 the prizes will be awarded for the pro Bowl becuase I am going to weight the questions so the person with the most points will win!!! so it has a GUARANTEED WINNER TO!!!..

Also I am doubling the Olympic Hockey Contest which also is a GUARANTEED WINNER!!

and I am doubling the weekly prize in the NBA Pick 3 players contests for all 8 weeks of the contest....GUARANTEED WINNER!!!

and I am doubling the yet to be started MLB Opening Day contest...GUARANTEED WINNER!!!

and I am doubling the Pick 3 players for the Masters Golf Tournament Contest and that has A GUARANTEED WINNER ALSO!!

The HOf football contest has no guaranteed winner and those prizes will not be doubled!!!...by me at least

The Super Bowl Squares contest will not be doubled by me either since it is already such a great contest and has multiple donators!!!....

So that should clear up any doubt about what Steve is doubling and that all contests per your requests have GUARANTEED WINNERS except the HOF election prediction contest....

Hey I took a survey from all the members about how they like contests to be run..

It was overwhelming and the Survey Said....

More contests and more guaranteed winners.... and Now Double the fun... and yes postage is a cost that I burden alone except when donators are involved then they pick up the postage...

Again Winners....dont forget to say thank you...a thread showing off your winnings always makes me feel good and I know George, Bob, kris and other donators sure like to see a thank you too!!!
