Collector Zone _ Basketball Trading _ I need Ginobli cards and Argentina Soccer players

Posted by: nolan34ryan May 14 2008, 07:54 PM

Hey Everyone,
I'm going on a mission trip to Argentina this summer. I have 2 months before I leave. We are going to go down and give free medical attention and medicine to over 100 people a day for 10 days. Please be praying for the people of Argentina and that we would help them. Also pray that they would receive Christ as their savior.

How you can help
1. Pray
2. If you have any Argentia Soccer player cards or Ginobli, or any other person from Argentina that I don't know about and you want a child waiting in line to get it please PM me and I will give you my address. Also if you want to send notes I can take those too.

Thanks for the help in advance!
God Bless,
David

We have 4 full time missionaries in City Bell, and La Plata right now which is out side of Buenos Aires. They are telling the people there that can't afford health care to show up on certain days in their villeges on the out skirts. Then we will show up and give them the medical treatment they need. We will have a doctor a nurse and someone filling perscriptions. The rest of the team will be in charge of getting to know the patients and sharing the gospel.

The last time I was down there it was for work at a orphanage which was much more my comfort zone. I'm not to smart when it comes to medic type stuff. I'm also hoping that I can speak better spanish this time.

We are really excited about coming down, and it will be good to see our friends again. Where are you at down there? It would be neat if you were going to be in the area we are at.

I live like 2 hours away from that place; it's great that you're doing this. I know there are lots of people who will really appreciate this gesture. I'll look for stuff so you can give them. Have a couple of soccer cards so I'll see what I can gather.

Sounds good. Maybe when I get more specific details I can tell you exactly where we will be so you can meet up with us. That would be fun. Also thanks for the cards any think will help.

Yes, that would be great. I hope you can get a lot of help from members here. Other Argentinian players: Pepe Sanchez, Carlos Delfino, Andres Nocioni, Luis Scola. But, to be honest, children here play soccer a lot.

Not one person has a Ginobli or soccer card they want to give to a bunch of kids that don't have running water in their house?

I know I have some soccer cards, does it matter if they are older? I think mine are from 96.

It is a providence in North Argentina called Chaco. It is about a 2 1/2 hour flight and 4 hours on bus from buenas Aris. If you said the name of the town I could tell you. I just can't pronounce it or find my paperwork that says the name of the specific area.

I guarantee you it's more than 4 hours by bus; Chaco is in the northern part, near Paraguay. That will give you a clue as to where it is. Maybe Resistencia is the place? It's Chaco's capital city.

That is the city.

Yes it's a 16 hour bus ride

But we are taking a 2 1/2 hour plane trip and then a 4 hour bus ride so that we can do more medical services.
