I think this is just wrong, and probably illegal. I see NO good reason to do this other than to trick someone.

What i really hate about ebay is when people put 1/1 or cut auto or auto but it is really not.It makes you sort through more cards because people lie about that.

You can't. It's fake or as the seller calls it "handcrafted".

I agree completely. In fact, by adding parts of original cards such as the Playoff card in this example, the seller is likely getting very close to crossing copyright and trademark lines.

Another one of my complaints as well. A 1/1 card is one that is numbered to 1 out of a total of 1 card. Why is that difficult?

I remember the days of the Patch Factories on Ebay. I quit buying GU becuase of it.

I bought a Vick GU patch #2/10 when I got the card you could see where the guy scratched the extra zero out becuase originally it was # 2/100!!!. and the patch .... well lets just say he hadnt glued it down properly...I think he used Elmers white school glue

I got my money back and had the guy permanently suspended from ebay...

Just to update this thread, I sent an email to DLP customer service with the http thingy and also sent one to ebay about this seller. He has numerous auctions like this one. Lets see what happens...

This should be interesting.....I found a 1/1 die cut of Mark Teixeira a few months ago that was handcrafted.....I think by this same guy. I'm anxious to see what happens.

Hand crafted cards or aftermarket #1/1s are a disgrace. Along with overproduction, these have essentially killed the jersey/patch market. Everyone flys off the hook now when a nice patch hits ebay. And the recent rash of "perfected hand crafted" patch cards now scare me from ever buying another patch. Just think if my Plummer #1/1 Jersey card was in their hands!
