Been on and off the forums although not actively trading as life events took hold. Retired from the USAF, ceremony was July 2013, official date 1 September 2013. Took some time off and finally found work, part time hours, fun job but as with all jobs there were certain aspects that I really didn't like about it. Do what you have to do to make ends meet, right ?
So while keeping my head down and applying for full time work, opportunity knocked in September 2015, twice. First was an office job, working for a company that does background checks for people in the medical field. The same day I start there, got a notification on my USAJobs account for a job out at the base. I went home during my lunch hour and applied for the job.
About a month later, got notified I was selected for the job.
Since November 2015 I have been working at the Holloman High Speed Test Track, Sled Systems Mechanic. I get to build, load, launch and recover the test sled used during tests. And I get to put my skills I gained on active duty to use as well.
Been itching to get my collecting going again, will have to get a few things sorted out with my collection, review some of my posts on here with my lists and go from there.
It will feel good to get back into it and start putting more sets I'm chasing to bed.
