Got up this morning and it appears that Epack has done away with even the free purple packs of cards. People are speculating that Upper Deck is in trouble as they are having problems with the redemption system and now removing the free packs??? Weird, I could see eliminating some of the stuff, but why the purples, they were digital only cards anyway, so it wasn't like anyone was going to combine them. Not sure what happened, but it is interesting that they were not available. Maybe it was a computer glitch, by the purple people eaters?  We will see what happens tomorrow. Oh well, I think lots of people are losing interest in the site anyway as the prices are higher than the marketplace and shipping is ridiculous. Not even to mention some of the bad traders on there out to rip people off, etc.

Yes that was the thoughts being presented yesterday. As for the base, nope, unless it is from SPGU or SPx which aren't technically base cause they are numbered. Any non-numbered base from S1 or S2 is digital as a single copy, but if bought from packs they can be combined for a foil (10 copies) or gold foil (100 copies only 16-17 and newer) variations which can be sent home. All newer hockey "free pack" cards cannot be combined and are digital only (BORING!!!!). The gold foils are pretty nice, but hard to accomplish of the better players as everyone hoards them and some were selling for crazy prices (McDavid in 16-17). They said people were giving YG for his base last year. I never got any of those offers, but I did trade a few for inserts.
