I would LOVE that. Officially claiming Dodgers, Lakers, Rams and Kings (hky) if you bring it back.

I don't know yet about the Multi-sport as I was just throwing that out there. The whole reason that went away was that it was so tough to put those product lists topgether as well. If we did I would want to try to shorten the draft period as well so I'd have to go back to look at how we did it and maybe tweak some things. If anything that won't be for awhile and I wouldn't have any answers as to how we would format it so put that on the shelf for at least now.

I'd like to hear more feedback on this High End group and we'll go from there.

I think Bob already came up with the right options even if they're not overly desirable. Instead of a set price each month Chris could figure out the cost per team based on the product chosen or we keep the same prices but change the length between breaks and budget accordingly. If we break every month and half it would be $170 per slot, if every 2 months then $230 per slot and so on.
If prices go up I know I'll end up with fewer teams and I imagine others will as well. We would have to hope that there are other people willing to pick up those teams or maybe cap it off at 16 slots and then a price that would include a second randomed/drafted team.

I certainly understand and agree. I'm fine waiting on the 2012 stuff until there's a product we like so maybe just a filler with any extra but I still don't know what to put together for a product list.

Triple Threads and Tribute I find way overpriced. Plates & Patches and Limited aren't really high end as we see it. Exquisite and NT are getting harder to find and when you do it's at $600 a box... just not sure where to go on this one? As for losing owners to group #2, we actually didn't lose anyone I don't think. Some of you picked up extra teams in that one so I can understand the strain on the budget but as far as people leaving one break for the other, I can't think of anyone who has done that. We just have a few new folks that were able to get teams they couldn't get in this one which is why I started the 2nd groups. I kept getting emails over and over again that if certain teams came open they'd love to join. Unfortunately we just haven't had enough new folks join yet.

Not sure what to do on this one so I'd like to hear more opinions such as Bob expressed above. I can always add old Exquisite from 06 and 07 as that stuff's cheap but I doubt many would support that due to redemptions, etc.. I could see what 10 Five Star is going for but even that is drying up. Thoughts???

There are more teams claimed in High End 2, plus as of yesterday 3 teams claimed over there are unclaimed here, so I would say we lost some teams here, with out a doubt, because of #2.

I haven't heard any suggestions of closing #2. I would be disappointed if we closed #1 and kept #2 opened as I've been pretty loyal to this group (as have many others) for many years now.

If it changes to multi sport I would drop as I only collect football. Just saying.

As for product. ANY old Exquisite, NT or Five Star is FAR better than any 2012 product available now. Thats my vote.

Not sure if we shut down #2 it would help this group as I've tried to talk some folks into moving over to this group if their team was open here and they passed. Partly I think because group 2 is structured differently. It's more of a high end break in cost than in product. In that one we are breaking 12 Finest which I would never even suggest here. I for one would like to see this group continue but will certainly want to continue to hear more feedback. I think we are in agreement that there just isn't a 2012 product out there that fits the bill here so I will take that off the list and will see what we can come up with instead.

As for the multi-sport break, we'll see but don't forget Bob you can have all 3 of your teams be FB teams if you wish. That's the beauty of it. Still, I worry that bringing that back will just stretch the same folks even thinner. Still need to think that one through.

We have filled a few more teams with participants from the High End #2 break so Neutron Farmer takes the Ravens and ACP420 takes the Raiders. Also, I claimed the Saints since nobody else did which leaves us just 2 slots short. Let's get this done folks!
