Hey guys, I thought I would get a thread going where I could track the progress of my PC. I collect Charlie Frye RC's from 2005. In 2005 Frye was a 3rd draft choice of my beloved Cleveland Browns. He hailed from Akron Ohio which was a stones throw from where I grew up and I thought he approached the game the right way, played with spirit and "moxy", and was hoping that he would be the saviour of the team. As it turns out he started for a couple years before becoming the only QB in history to be named the starting QB, play the first game and then get cut from the team. He held a clipboard for the Raiders and got in a few games when JaMarcus got hurt but his NFL stardom was not meant to be.

I started collecting Frye right away in 2005 and let up a little when he left the team but continue to pick up his cards where I can. Ultimately I would like to have one of every card from his rookie year but with some 66 #1/1's and about 490 different cards it's a bit of a chore. In the meantime I continue to hoard his cards when I find them for decent prices and that is the goal of this thread. To show off some of the cards but also to allow a spot where I can track the collection a bit easier. I don't expect Frye will be a draw to alot of visitors but if you choose to peek in I hope you find a few cards you find worth the look and as always if you have any leads on some good cheap Frye cards (I only collect his 2005 stuff) be sure to let me know.
