Ok so went to the shop today. Had a rough week with family and school stuff so figured I could treat myself. Went in with the mindset, dont spend over 80 bucks. Walked out after spending 11. Pulled the card below. FT for AP RC Auto or will sell. This is a great pull for being a huge fan of elway my whole life and growing up in Denver. Even better the numbering!

So this year, has been unlike any other year for Contenders. Every year in the past, I get absolutely crushed. So this year, Up until today, Ive bought a total of 17 packs. So far Ive hit 6 scrub autographs(cant think of their name), Eddie Royal, Desean Jackson, Dustin Keller, Brandon Flowers(SP), and a few more totalling about 11 autographs which is just absolutely insane. So far, best one being Darren McFadden which I pulled last week. I was really excited about pulling the McFadden, but sold it that day to the cardshop owner for $120(About 40 over ebay). So today I go to the same shop. And buy 3 packs. It take my normal 2 packs(which I have hit an autograph out of every time) and pull Owen Schmitt. So $14, down the drain. I pay for my stuff and start bsing with the shop owner. For about 30 minutes we are talking about how we think my hot hand had come to an end on the Contenders when I tell him I will try 1 more. Granted, there was only about half a box left when I bought my 3 packs. So I open the pack and see the flipped card, and think it was an autograph. It was a Limas Sweed.... Got pretty excited since I like him, and flip, just a unsigned playoff ticket. So I pay for that pack, and the owner, who is a great guy, tells me he will give me a pack of contenders for the card. Open the pack, see the flipped over card. Slide and see the Falcons logo. Its happened to me before, but it was Sam Baker. Keep sliding, I see Matt Ryan. I start getting excited and doing this all so, I turn it over and there it was. The Matt Ryan RC Autograph. What a great way to spend 21 bucks. Ill try to get a scan up tonight for those of you who would like to see it. Its in amazing shape for a COntenders autograph.... Sorry for the long read, just wanted to let you know of the great luck Ive had.
