they are a great idea to keep your collecting up to date. try and take a look at my trade list if your into non-sports, if not you'll have to wait for the football season to begin...

Using them for trade or want lists is definitely a good use. Another great use is if someone has a subject that they like to "rant" about alot. Using a blog, they can have their own area to point other collectors to and gather an audience.

By the way, look for a really nice upgrade to the blogs in the next week or two.

Thanks. It's one of our unique features and one that I think will grow on collectors over time. I'll be starting to add entries to the Cardboard Corner soon to help showcase it. Plus, the new version that needs installed has lots of nice, new features!

Yes, unlike posting, you can create draft versions of your items and then only make them visible when you're ready. The blogs are your own mini web publishing system.

I'm not a professional tornado chaser.....I'm not real sure what I'll do if I ever catch one !!!!! I just like the chase and always have a camera ready in case I ever get lucky enough to be there when one happens. I worked search and rescue when the F-5 hit Jarrell, TX back in 97...unfortunately, for those who were home when the tornado struck, it was more search than rescue. It was during the recovery of the victims that I realized how powerful they truely are.....you can get an idea from TV, but seeing the destruction first hand really makes you think.

A neat tribute to the 27 killed in that tornado happened during the first football game of the year the next year. Jarrell was winning the game and scored a touch down near the end of the 4th quarter to make it 27 to nothing. Instead of kicking the football for an extra point they knelt on the ball and the game ended 27 to zip.

Well, snowblink has quickly become the most active blogger up to now. Then, there are several others (like me) that are having a hard time getting started.

For the newer members...check out the blogs under the blog forum. This is your opportunity to tell us more about yourselves, your other interests outside of the card hobby, and just about anything else as long as it's of a clean nature. It's also a great place to store your trade lists in case you don't have your own web site. By storing it there it is available to everyone else for 24 hours a day, every day.

I've used mine for a couple of sports related topics, as well as several job related topics. Take advantage of this feature and look around.

yeah, most of what's written on that blog are hurriedly-done stuff. i'll edit them though when there are no nuisances during the day and i can work on them peacefully. lol.
