I don't think it will change much place for the Packers. Jackson is a better receiver and has a soft schedule for the next few weeks to get going. You may see more screens and outlet passes with Jackson in there.

So would I! He isn't having surgery, but he said it's very sore. They're not really giving any other details at all. However, Hill has been confirmed as week 2 starter vs the Eagles.

4-8? What source are you looking at? Everything I've seen have been guesses of 4-6 weeks - but nobody knows anything about his injury so you really can't do more than guess.

They made moves to try to protect Stafford. They acquired Sims so they could move Backus to his normal position at tackle instead of playing guard. Unfortunately although Backus is terrible at guard, he still isn't an awesome tackle in a passing offense.

I like that they took Suh number two overall, but I wish they would have picked up a new left guard in addition to getting Sims. Backus is tough as nails and few people work harder than he does, but he makes a lot of mistakes that causes big problems. I just don't think Okung fits Detroit's offense.

Jeff Backus will never ever ever be a franchise left tackle. For a first round pick, he was a bust. Russell Okung, or even Trent Williams, could be an elite LT to protect your QB's blind side.

I agree that they could do much better than Backus... but I didn't think Okung was worth number two overall, and he needs a lot of work, too. I would have loved to see a trade for a tackle more suited for protecting the passer, though.
