Regular Package: I got an email from Dan a reader of my card blog, who had some cards from my wantlist (plus some dupes) So for $5.00 delivered I got a nice lot of 2008 Upper Deck Masterpieces Football most were dupes but there was one card I actually needed, and some 2008 Allen & Ginter Minis I needed. He included a note that described some of the cards with some humorous titles and apologized for some damage on a couple of them that were apparently from a previous owner who used a blue rubber band for storage. The note also repeated payment instructions and cost.

A lone card in a small bubble mailer from Ebay. Well worth it. I have seen this vintage card go for way way too much it is usually at least 40 dollars starting on Ebay. I got it for $29.95 Plus $2.95 Shipping. Condition is pretty good. Only downside was they put it in a dang “card saver” (Ultra Pro) with tape across the opening. UGH. Fortunately I was able to get the tape off without any damage to card. I hate when sellers do that. I should have dinged them for it, but I was just so ###### excited to have this card in my collection. As I said I’ve seen the card start at $40 plus and better conditioned ones starting at over $100 or $200 and up for BIN prices. So now I have a 1968 Rookie Card of Reds Great Johnny Bench. 1968 Topps #247 Cincinnati Reds 1968 Rookie Stars Johnny Bench Catcher and Ron Tompkins Pitcher. It is the “corrected” version with “the” spelled correctly. I noticed that around the time I won my auction another one had ended at only $12.something with 2 bids UGH. OH Well I still paid under my $40 preferred zone.

Also got a small padded envelope from Colbey of Cardboard Collections blog He had one of his affordable group box breaks in September (for $6.75 which got a paid team and a random team). It was an All Oh Pee Chee break the boxes opened were: 1991, 1992 and 1993 Premier. My paid team was my Expos Franchise and my random team was White Sox. 95 cards: 64 Expos, 31 White Sox and several dupes, triplicates, some quadruples.
