Jerad..are you talking 2010 Tribute or 2011?   If you are talking 2011, please let me know where you can get a box for $360 because I would love to pick me up another box at some point and I only see it around $440.  2011 Tribute is unbelievable!!

Agreed Joe, wherever we can finding 2011 Tribute for $360 a box I suggest we all buy every box they have of it! It is selling constantly for the $440 to $450 mark. It is the best baseball product I have seen Topps put out in a LONG time! I hope the upcoming TTT is just as strong. I think Jerad was talking about 2010 Tribute though. There are some nice hits in that product, but it is certainly not as strong as 2011! I am up for any suggestions that anyone might have for a product line.

The prices I find are:

Tribute- $360
10 TTT- $185
08 TTT- $190

Looks like we save money ($15) going with the Tribute? But maybe you have better prices than what I find? Also maybe we can try something other than 10 Topps Chrome? I have only gotten lame stuff out of there. How about 04 SP Prospects; 5 autos for around the same price.

I can get the 2010 TTT for $165 and the 2008 for $160 for a total of $325. And you are correct, we can get 2010 Tribute for $360. It is simply up to the guys in the break. I am good either way! If anyone would like to chime in feel free. I am good either way.

I havent seen a baseball break in quite a few months. I figure we can do it along the lines of last years baseball boxbreakers group, ran by Abel. As a matter of fact I will message him and see if he is interested in doing it again. Thanks and I hope we can get one done soon!

This break cost would be $47 a slot if we have 15 slots. Of course the product list could change if someone wanted something different put in. Here is what I have for slots so far.

As for this break, I would prefer the two TTT's over 2010 Tribute. There were a lot of quality issues with 2010 that left it kind of unimpressive IMO. Yes, there was some good stuff in it, but a lot of ho-hum stuff as well. I have a Ryan Howard relic auto from 2010 where the Relics aren't even covering up the windows in the card...it had pretty weak quality control because they tried to get it rushed out so fast. Definitely not the case with 2011.

Gonna bail on this one, gentlemen.

While I really want to get involved in
a Baseball group break once again, the
Braves are already taken and Triple
Threads is one of if not the best examples
of poor graphics and ill-design that I have
ever witnessed.

Once again, I'd like to get involved if this
goes to a monthly gig.

Against my better judgment, I let this one continue for interest sake. However, I am closing this one. There are way too many changes and no clear cut direction for this break.

It appears that there is interest in a Baseball Group Break, but this one is going no where.

There are plenty of good examples in the Football Group Break Forum to garner ideas on running a break.

First and foremost, the product being broke, quantity, # of spots and $$ per spot at a minimum must be determined, prior to posting a group break and having it approved.
