This one is 6 feet in length and was a sign I had made for a friend of mine in Montreal's China Town....

Actually here in Montreal Chinatown there is a sidewalk sale 3 weeks in the summer one week in June one in July and one in August ....it is becoming very commercial in Chinatown and I wanted to bring back a little culture so I had painted a sign for a friend of mine who has had his store there for over 25 years ....this year was the year of the Dragon so I had taken a model from a temple in Beijing which has nine Dragons all in porcelain and chose 2 to paint on a wooden surface to make him a sign ...it is painted in acrylic paint (each color was made from primary colors)and then there is a lacquer applied for UV and other protection...he was extremely happy with the finished piece....it also had great feedback from many of the shop owners...

Nice stuff! The colors in the dragon piece are tremendous it really pops! That background color is very nice.
