Collector Zone _ Golf _ Sports Illustrated KIDS Tiger Woods card $160,000

I just heard that a Tiger Woods card from Sports Illustrated for Kids sold for over $160,000...anyone else here about this. They said it was so expensive because its the first card Tiger appeared on when he was in high school. Anyone know where I can get my hands on these, does the magazine still have cards? Anyone know who the magazine has in it now? Like a Greg Oden in high school could be worth a lot one day...

Ok then someone way overpaid for it..

You can usually buy the magazine with the cards intact..on ebay for well less than that..

aceecards is right...that is way overpriced. a PSA 10 did sell for $100k about 5 years ago though. But I have seen PSA 10's on ebay the past few years and the average is around 4k. The PSA/BGS 8 ones for around $200. You can buy the mag or just the card for $100-200 on ebay. People say it is his "true" rookie card even though SI never intended these cards to be actual trading cards.
