Well another release hit Epack today. OPC Platinum at $4.99 a pack or $95.99 a box. Looked at some people who bought stuff and I am not sure why anyone would be interested? Saw a guy who bought a box, got 20 cards that are transferable, one of which was an auto. So for $96 he got 60 non-transferable base/rcs and 20 transferable cards that are parallels / inserts. I get not doing the base set as transferable cards, but why the rookies, isn't that why most people buy the product to begin with? What is next UD S1 and S2 with a non-transferable cards 1-500, where you have to collect 10 of each to get the "parallel"? I miss the good old days when we didn't pay for digital stuff. When card packs contained cards you could feel and own. I must be getting too old for this hobby?!??!

I can still buy at a brick and mortar. My point was I don't get why anyone would want to overpay on there for less in return. Yeah you can trade and make parallels not available in the regular route, but a lot of that stuff ends up undervalued selling for pennies on COMC, so why pay $5 a pack, plus invest your time, and then have to pay $0.25 per card, plus $4 shipping. Figure one transferrable card per pack with only a few real big "hits" in a box, how much of that is worth sending home at the prices, when you can buy it and ship it for a lot less. Just my opinion. I really like the trading factor of the site, but where is the value in the packs? It bad enough when you buy a box at a B&M and get killed, but imagine it on there.
