We have a Hockey, Baseball and a Football, time to get a Basketball Group Monthly break going! Since we don't have a huge Basketball following here (yet) I will have this one open to TCZ as well!

RULES:

This break will have maximum 15 members, but will be guaranteed with at least 8 members. We will pick boxes based off of how many members we have for the month.

First team is chosen, remaining teams will be drafted. In the event that we have less than 15 spots filled, after the draft round, remaining teams will be randomed.

ALL Cards pulled from your teams belong to you. If you wish to decline base or any other cards that will be your call.

Multi Player cards will be randomed between owners of those teams.

Players not pictured/listed in a NBA uniform or team will go to the team that player currently plays for. If no longer on a NBA Team, card will go to team that player last played for.

Panini Rewards will be randomed off to members of break who do not receive a hit. I WILL ALSO GIVE YOU A CREDIT ON THE NEXT MONTHS BREAK FOR THESE IF YOU WIN ONE AND DONT WANT IT!!!!!

Payments must be in prior to draft. If you cannot pay by deadline set each month, at a minimum an attempt to work out arraignments must be made. Failure to do so will constitute forfeiture of your spots.

At this rate we will be looking at picking boxes soon! So start looking and see what we want to break! Im down for anything from all years. Would like to try to do 1 nicer box and several cheaper boxes with more hits but its up to the group!

I don't know about the rest but I love the Past & Present sets. Love that vintage look, they only seemed to do those for 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons. Anything but Paramount they don't seem to have any Wizards in the set WHAT? Oh in the buybacks they have a Wes Unseld Bullets , but that insert set is only 1 per 2 CASES with nearly 50 cards so the chances of pulling an Unseld for me is super slim.

I love the past and present myself. Definitley something to throw in the mix. Some nice looking "Vintage Style" Cards

What are peoples views on these 2014-15 products? Obviously we can't do all of them this time around.

My Opinions on them good and bad.
Select and Prizm - I'm a bit tired of all the silvery shiny sets. Although they are better when Panini has the licenses from the league to use logos and team names. Unfortunately they all start looking the same year after year.
Hoops - Usually my favorite sets of the year. Usually a nice simple design. They do sometimes have that "same thing each year" but not as much as some of the other sets.
Court Kings - A bit too stained glass colorful for my tastes but I always go with what the majority likes. Actually it reminds me a little of Crusades
Gold Standard - Another set series I am a little tired of that seems the same every year.
Prestige - A nice looking set.
Totally Certified - Another of the shiny types that are being a little overused in my opinion.

There is the SP Authentic and SPX but since they don't have the NBA license the players are shown in College Uniforms. I'm not a huge fan of that card style/trend.

I know there are other products I didn't mention we could do if we want. Plus there are older sets that can be done.

I have a short attention span, so I like the shiny stuff Personally, I would like to do several lower end boxes vs 1 or 2 high end as it give everyone a better chance for something. Yes 1 or two nicer hits, but less hits in general.
