QUOTE(sahetu @ Mar 27 2006, 09:43 PM) Very nice... Wish I could get GU from NPNs. Heck I haven't even gotten my WWE NPNs back ( maybe I won't! ). It's been dry since a Bazooka tattoo two weeks ago. Do the High end Topps stuff. I have done well with Pristine, Reserve, and the better topps products. WWE npns are being delivered I got four last week and WRV01 got two last week as well, so you might be seeing something there soon.

Ok, so how does this work? I went through some of my card "junk" and found a bunch of wrappers for: 2005 donruss greats, 2005 legendary cuts, 2006 topps series 1, 2006 topps heratige, 1 2005 SP game used hockey and 1 2005 MLB Ultimate, but the Ultimate wrapper doesnt say anything about NPN, it was probably on the box it came in. Some of them say 2 per household and some say per household per day, does that mean I can send one in every day? or how does this generally work? If I would have known about this I wouldnt have thrown out tons of my used wrappers (especially the Ultimate ones, I gave those to my local shop owner) I really dont like that guy, you all have been 100X more helpful in the few days that I have been here than he has in the past year that I have been buying cards from him, If there were another local shop I would go elsewhere to get my cards, but this venting is for another thread.

QUOTE(RJames2304 @ Mar 28 2006, 11:45 PM) And why in the world do they make Canadian residents answer a math question?? that seems a bit insulting. Easy on first. Canada considers No Purchase Necessary (NPN) offers as gambling. The Legislative body has made it a law that any form of gambling has to have a skills question to make sure the people entering are able to make sound decisions, as it is a contest and you could win nothing, but waste your money. I think the general idea was to protect people from what happened in the US with the mail in sweepstakes.

How it works (basically) is you fill out a 3X5 index card with your information that is required (name, address, city, state, zip, some (UD) require email and day & evening phone numbers). You then place that in a #10 envelope to the address on the envelope. #10 envelope is the 4" high x 9" wide envelope the kind you put an 8 1/2" x 11" paper in folded three times from top to bottom. You do not need a wrapper to send in. You can go to a retail store and write down the information off of products there or there are sites online where you can get the information. There is another thread here on what that site is. Donruss is limited to 2 per household per product, UD is unlimited but one per day, Topps is generally limited to 1 per household on sports products, but the entertainment cards like Wrestling and Lord of the Rings are generally a limit of 8. Ultimate may not have an NPN offer, I noticed that high end stuff from UD generally does not. If you can check the box, but I am remembering not seeing one on that product myself. On UD I would not send more than 10 entries, I am not sure sending any more than that improves your chances of winning. Others might be able to tell you how many they send in on them but I usually limit my UD entries to 4. One final thing is these contests expire, Topps usually puts the deadline date on their packs, UD does not, so I would suggest not doing a product that is over 6 months old (possibly three months) as you probably will not get anything and are wasting money. If you have any other questions or need more help, PM me or leave another message in this thread. Good Luck, we need some more NPN winners here.
