This is one of my favorite cards, owned it since I pulled it in 2000, looking back through the thread I guess I never posted it in here.

Thanks man, a lot of people have gone back to picking up some of the nicer inserts from the 90s due to the lack of variety and interest in newer products. I've been collecting 90s inserts the last few years because these were the hottest cards of my favorite players back when I started collecting again in the late 90s, and I could never afford them back then.

Picked these up a while back. I need more 09 Ultimate jumbo patches, so if anyone has any available, please let me know...

Also "wlalocal" Los-Angeles collection, but its not really one team but more like a city?? huh.gif  But I like that one if it would count as well.

Thanks for the nomination man, I really appreciate it! If I needed to pick one team from my L.A. collection, I would go with the Dodgers, which is really my main focus right now.

Either way, here is my thread and some of the PC folders..

Thanks everyone, that dimaggio is on of my favorites in a long time, up there with the Clemente, Williams and Robinson.

Let's take a little trip through the 90s, back when low numbered inserts meant something. Here are a few nicer 90s Dodgers inserts I've picked up recently.

Steve, yeah, I thought the same thing, it looks like a mini, reverse nike swoosh, but it's really the top left part of the "D" from Dodgers home jerseys. Also, do you have any nicer Dodgers cards for the McGee, please PM me if you have anything you think I may like..

Thanks gents, I should have a nice HOF piece incoming, it will be posted soon. In the meantime, I'll keep in line with the jumbo patch theme and show my Kemp jumbo patches, of which I also have 5 of 32 of the total print run. I don't think the first 2 cards I'm going to post were in any previous updates..

Do you collect Bengals only? Take a look through my football folder and let me know if there are any cards you can use, I have a few Bengals cards I'd sell/trade if you need them.

Picked up this Showcase masterpiece 1/1 RC of the newest member of the Dodgers, Juan Uribe.

Also, got this Kershaw patch in (first card), which makes it 5 out of 35 in my collection..

One of my favorite cards and a pickup from the last 6 months, Ted Williams Ultimate Collection jumbo patch. This is the only vintage patch I've seen from all the Williams Ultimate jumbos so I really wanted to pick this up. I tried to figure out where the patch came from, and it looks like the 9 on it's left side.

Another HOF pickup, a Hank Aaron patch auto, the patch looks to be part of the face from the Braves logo on the sleeve of the early 60's Braves jerseys.

Thanks for the comments everyone, I'm going to break away from the LA theme for a few posts and show off some cards from my HOF baseball collection, I've added a few cards recently that I really like.

Harry was a big fan of Rickey way back in the day when Harry was a kid. Rickey was probably Harry's favorite non Dodgers player because of the hustle and grit Rickey showed on the field. Harry also found it kinda funny that Rickey spoke about himself in the third person.

Thanks guys, glad you like the cards! Kobe's sig has gone from "Kobe 8" early on, to just "Kobe", finally to his full name, which is how he's been signing recently. I think I have a few from each style.

Peter, this scanner actually make scanning cards somewhat bearable. Here's another Kobe I picked up a while back, mirror gold auto.

Richard, let me know which cards you liked when you get some time, there are several cards in your bucket that I'm hoping we can work something out on.
By the way, there was a patch auto version of the Snider which ended yesterday that I missed out on... sad.gif

Today's card is a Hideo Nomo 2004 Tools of the Trade 1/1 patch auto.
