So I have started seeing the complaints about this one but opened mine and enjoyed. The auto guarantee from product info and sell sheet seems to have disappeared. Well pretty much nothing from the sell sheet is intact lol. You do not get two minis per pack(this was my biggest disappointment). In fact the packs that did have two minis (5 of them) had 9 cards so looks like the intent was to go to one mini/one super bowl card. I do like the super bowl cards but would have preferred some more minis since i will be building.
On a side note Is the super bowl insert cards across other sets? I have only been back for a few weeks so not sure why there are only the last ten super bowls worth of inserts.
In two boxes I got 0 base dupes at all definitely a plus for us builders.
The college coaches are gone(most likely the cause for the delay). They have been replaced by historical figures. Most of the autos were not made either. They were replaced with a shorter list of mostly rookies(the likely cause of the boxes seemingly flipping from 1-2 autos to 0-1 autos.
If you are the grading type dont even bother. While the cards arent destroyed I certainly saw not one card worth sending into get graded. Bad cutting on this one which of course is very noticeable on black border.
I would not invest more than $50-70 per box personally but I definitely plan on getting more so now the price waiting game starts. Will patience or want take over lol?
Anyway here are my hits and I really cant complain about the Jsy's I got. Also a 1/1 and a Harvard back/25. Tell you who they are after the pics.
The printing plate is a Jordy Nelson and the Harvard back is Patrick Willis. The auto is Donnie Avery. The Jerseys are Flacco, Forte, and Welker.
Only the 1/1 is available til I decide whether to build a master or just parallels.
