OK guys....I was thinking scaling back next month might be the way to go. However, after talking to a few members of the Break in Ustream in another break last night, they asked for me to price a multi case SPA Break (possibly spanning 3 years!) Just doing some quick estimates here is what I could come up with for both a 2008/2007 case break or a 2008/2007/2006 (2006 redemptions are good through December 2009) case break. I know this could price some people out of the break, which I would hate to do, but would be a fun mega-break. Could possibly set this one up as a seperate break outside the normal monthly break. These prices do not include shipping all base (as there will be alot). Could also possible put sets together and just ship sets to whomever wants to pay extra for them. Might be able to reduce pricing by doing this too.
Anyway, here is what I've came up with:
Tri-Case:
If we did one (12 Box) case each of 2008/2007/2006 we would need to fill 18 initial full price slots based on this structure/pricing (everyone could keep there current teams) and we would just have to recruit. Pricing would be as follows: 18 Initials Spots $160 each 14 Paid Draft (better teams $50 each - first 10) - with some room to drop pricing for the last four spots (will come up with pricing if we decide to do this).
Dual-Case:
If we did one (12 Box) case each of 2008/2007 we would need to fill 18 initial full price slots based on this structure/pricing (if we did this, I would want to fill 16 initial slots - and have to put Vikes and Falcons up as second full price paid teams (sorry Chris and Pat) but thats the only fair way) so we will total 18 full price spots). Pricing would be as follows: 18 Initials Spots $110 each 14 Paid Draft (better teams $45 each - first 10) - with some room to drop pricing for the last four spots (will come up with pricing if we decide to do this).
So there it is. Please let me know your guys thoughts on this as if we do decide to do it, would like to get it set up and start recruiting. I know it's pricy but would be a lot of fun and some potential for some great rc patch autos for a lot of people. I would also take an additional spot in this if we do it help fill it. As I've said, this is just going through some pricing quickly and could change depending on what deals we could get from vendors.
Thanks for any input and feel free to say no way (I won't be offended), I'll have no problem changing it back to and coming up with a lower cost break. Also, if we did go through with this, payment would not be do for probably around two weeks+.
