Will be sending out tomorrow... had issues with the postal lady; she said my package was too "thin" for delivery confirmation and would have to pay for priority mail.

No problem, I usually put in a packing (styrafoam) peanut to eliminate that concern. But, then I have received a ton that appeared "thin" by there standards with no issues....just depends on the Postal worker sometimes.

Way it was explained at my post office. Because it is ridgid, it is non-machineable so therefore the thickness don't matter it is a package and postage rate is for package and you can use DC on package. Like you say depends on clerk and which rules they reading I think laugh.gif kinda like trying to get Medicare and your insurance company to agree on who pays for what wink.gif

The lady was driving me nuts. She told me "Oh hmm, this has bubble wrap inside, maybe it can be ridged, oh no, but see it goes right through the slot". Told her "I've sent over 100 packages in bubble mailers some as thin as this one and I've NEVER had any problems". I think it killed me more when she kept going back and forth trying to make up her mind if she was gonna let me send it out or not... Anyways, I'll be heading down to the post office this afternoon (currently 7:30am here).
