Here's the thread for the March 2009 OFFICIAL TCC Baseball Group Box Break.

Here is a list of teams and the members who held them in the July break.
I will make adjustments to this list if teams change, and as people verify with me that they want to be in the August break, and as they pay for their teams.

Those who participated last month have first dibs at renewing their team purchase or choosing another team. So, if you participated in the July break, let me know what you would like to do.

Here are the rules:

Cost: $30--this covers the cost of the boxes and the shipping and supply costs.

The boxes we break will depend on member input and how much money we get. The more members, the more money, the more boxes (or the more higher end the boxes can be).

You can buy as many teams as you want, the first is $30 and each additional team is $25.

How the remaining teams will be distributed will depend on the number of teams left. Once that is determined we can discuss again how those teams will be distributed. Generally we just random off cards from those teams.

Here are some "decision rules," so there is no confusion.

If a card features more than one player from different teams, then there will be a random drawing between the owners of the teams featured on the card. The owner who is chosen by the random drawing will receive the card.

If a card features a player in a different jersey than the team labels on the card, the card will go to the team of the jersey the player is in.

Game used and auto cards from teams who are not chosen during a particular month will be randomly awarded amongst all members of the break.

If a card features a player in a college uniform, it will be awarded to the team the player was drafted by.

If a card features a player in a minor league uniform, it will go to the team that the minor league club is an affiliate of.

The rest of the cards that are from teams who are not chosen during a particular month will be randomly distributed amongst all participants in the break.

any team not marked verified or paid is up for grabs...If there is a name by the team all that mean is they have first dips on them. On the deadline if they do not get with me the team will go to the next person on the list.

Since it seemed like everyone was happy with us doing the random for the other teams we are going to do it again this month that is if we get the 15 spots filled like we need. Also I am going to post choice that I think would be nice to do for everyone in the group. I hope this will speed thinks up some in here.

Blowout didn't have a whole lot to choose from.. 06-09 ginter was sold out, sweet spots, ballpark, SPA, SPX...I can try to find boxes on ebay or other card sites to beef up the boxes in the choices. I didn't put Tribute in since it went up to 332 that would only leave 43 to spend on an other box. I try to find a place to get better boxes.

Also If you like a choice but think it would be better if a box was traded out...like Say I like Choice #1 but would per 09 TTT over Sterling. All I ask is please use you heads do ask if we can trade out a box like 2010 UD for 08 Preimer. I only say that because last month someone pm me and said he would join the group if I trade Elite for an other box of Tribute.

I do not want to do this but I am gonna have to drop out of this break. I might be back once summer rolls around. I might be moving in a couple of months and trying to save. Keep up the good work. Dont pull any Cardinals or Twins patch autos while Im away.

I am back in for this month. With 5toosweet dropping out, I hope we can get a couple of new folks to join. I am good for 3 teams. Definitely with the
Red Sox and Dbacks. I will pick the 3rd team later so that new folks can get their choice first. I like option #2 but also okay with #3.

I am going to have to drop out for a little while....funds are a bit tight and half to replenish a bit. Will definitely be looking forward to getting back in the wing in the summer. Thanks for a great group break, as always.

Good news is 2 teams picked up...Bad news is 2 teams was dropped. So we are back to 9 spots gone. and need 15 to do the break.

Sorry for being MIA. I have been getting hit hard at work.
Still need 6 ppl so we can do choice #3...I am going to give it a week to see if anyone else wants in. If no one else joins I try to find out what we can do with just 9 or 10 ppl and send out pms to the ppl that are in the group to see if everyone is cool with it. If you are in the group and kind of know if you are going to be out please LMK. I am trying my best to keep this group alive now my work is hurt the group so nothing I can do about that.
