Exactly. I'd feel like "insert bad word here" if I knew a couple of people wouldnt have a chance at something.. Heck, I could end up with a draft team with no players in the products.. I wouldn't like that, even if it's "just" my draft team.. I really only see a mixed year option.. Because, selfishly, I'd love at least one box of 2012..

I agree that to make it fun and fair for all, we should think about a mix in years just for this month. Kind of a slow transition period until we're full blown 2012.

Well I figured we should get at least 1 option out there, with mixed products. Since option 2 was winning so far, I thought I'd start with that as the "base" for this option. I removed PP Fanfare and 1 of the PP, and added 2011 Gold Standard and 2011 R&S Longevity. We'll call this one Option 4.

It's $10 more, but I will make sure that $10 gets covered if this option is chosen.

Sam, please change my vote to option #4.

Option 4:

2011 Panini Gold Standard $135 (5 hits [3 autos])
2011 Panini Rookies & Stars Longevity $60 (4 hits)
2012 Press Pass - $100 (6 autos)
2012 Leaf Metal Draft - $75 (3 autos)

Total: $370, 12 autos + 6 others

I agree with Mark, here. Regardless of whether it's just 1 team, or multiple teams that aren't represented, if there is going to be someone in the group whose team isn't represented we simply should come up with something different. I'm not saying this just because it's me either, because I wouldn't expect anyone to want to pay $25 for a chance at absolutely nothing!

I joined this group to get cards from my favorite team. I could care less about getting cards of the next hot rookie. For that reason, I'd rather not change my team.

That said, if anyone would like to cover my spot this month so that they can switch to a different team (in the event that option #4 isn't chosen) let me know and my spot is all yours.

I dont think many Panthers are in 2012 either...I wouldn't mind doing a mixed break..I would vote #4. If we can't do #4 then i may have to sit this month or maybe switch to the Jaguars..

Even though it's probably better for the Dolphins to go with an all 2012 break, I switch my vote from Option 3 to Option 4.

My definition of a successful Group Break is when the maximum number of members get hits!

Easy solution to the Cowboys dilemma: If we do something other than option 4, I'll take them willingly. Oddly enough, but I think this whole scenario already played out and no one noticed. I think this happened with the Seahawks in early 2011.

I'll switch my vote to #2, by the way.

That's a shame. I mean, someone payed their money for absolutely no chance at getting a hit? That, to me, is ridiculous. I can live with paying my money and getting no hits back. However, when there's not even a chance at it, it becomes something completely different. I think we all owe it to each other, being in this group together, to try to make sure something like this never happens to any of us.
