Hooray for opening night. I got to watch my Caps rack up the goal (condolences to Bruins fans) and we finally get to cheer for our teams again. Joe Sakic's gone, a Cup banner gets raised in Pittsburgh tomorrow, and Toronto is aiming for the team record of PIMs.

I will be breaking this month due to Bill's difficult schedule. My wife has a mac with a camera, so there may be some growing pains but I can definitely do a live video break on ustream.

Box suggestions appreciated in the range of $275 to $320 depending on how many members we're able to get. I will also post a thread in the hockey marketplace forum to advertise the club this month to boost participation.

I apologize for the delay, cards were shipped this morning, all transactions were updated with everyone's individual Delivery Confirmation number!

A few things:

1.) I understand my track record as of late has not been up to par by any means. Thus I will not ask, nor expect to host any of these breaks unless asked by the group. Again, I am very sorry, a short explanation was sent with everyone's cards as to the delay.

2.) My payment as well as Barrow's will be sent to you Mark within the next few days!

The only other thing is that I would like to state is that I've got complete trust in Bill to resume breaking if/when he decides he is ready to again. I've been in this group for a while and honestly the bumpy road the doesn't shake my trust in him. I've always recieved my cards and they've always been well taken care of. Sometimes we all take on too much on or sometimes things come up.

Mike, I don't think it is a trust issue. I think it is more just the lengthy delays, especially if you are planning on moving the cards when you get a good hit.

I am thinking we should at least include a box of Ultra and OPC. I know the OPC has a 1 in 3 chance of having a hit, but I opened some and thought there was a decent value in the parallels, inserts, etc. Up to the group what we do though.

i don't mine OPC but the case breaks are lucky to get 5 GU or AU in a Case so i would say a box of 08/09 BAP or 08/09 SPGU or 08/09 SPA
