Well. That was alot of fun. I just want to start by saying that Dave and Adams has the best customer service, but dont try and find thier warehouse! Its tough to locate! The Directions there were ok, except I missed the street i was supposed to turn on because it was a tiny little street sign. And then, I was in the middle of an Office Complex, and had to drive around a while to find it! LOL. But its OK.
The Product: Donruss Elite Football
12 Boxes Per case, 20 packs per box, 5 cards per pack.

Design: 4/5. I like the black and white lines, and the little circle, with the player in front of it. Team Logo up in right top coner, name on bottom. Writing on the back of the card could have been larger though, to take up more space, and make it easier to read.
I liked most of the Designs on the Inserts. I did not like the Zoning Commision however, the colors did not work correctly.

Inserts: 3/5 About 12-15 per box, which is fine if you are doing it by the box, but by the pack, those 3 fish packs you get at five or six bucks a pack will kill you. And all the parrallels to the inserts will anger alot of people, even though I like them. And the Parallels to the base set/rookies will forever remain my favorite part of Elite. Honorable mention there.

Rookies: 3/5 This would have gotten a 4, but they upped the rookies from 499, to 599 copies. Some of the selection was questionable, but this way there are more rookies for everyone to collect and get from thier team.

Jerseys: 3.5 /5. What more could we ask from jerseys? I really liked the College Ties jerseys, and the patch, otherwise, they are just parallels to the inserts.

Autos: 4/5 I got 4 Autographs in my case. One was Steve Young! The other 3 were rookie autos that dont generate alot of intrest, but are cool never the less.

Set Builders: 2.5/5 This is neutral. No challenge to building the 100 card base set, some like that, some dont.

Price: 4/5: For 80-110 Bucks, its not so bad.

Final: Not every box is going to be super, but it has been my expiernce with Elite that almost everybox has atleast one really cool card in it. Id say Take a Chance.

"My common sense is tingling..."

The Wax Wombat moniker has been retired. Doesn't seem right anymore,
as I don't own the domain, have that blog, or rip much wax these days.
