Wait the 7 days and then file an ebay reminder on the 7th day. Cause after that it gives them another 7 days to comply before you can get your fees back. I list about 60 items a week and honestly Im lucky to get between 5-10 people to pay within 24 hours. I dont get why people dotn pay immediately as well but o well.

Was at the local San Diego show at the scottish rite center

I had originally sold everything I had for trade at the hollywood park show intending on getting out of doing shows cause Im moving but I did pick these up in a couple of buys

2001 Heritage Willie Mays auto bat
not sure what it books but the bat piece alone books for $150 and the odds of getting an auto/bat piece are 1 in 20,000 packs

2004 hot prospects nolan ryan/michael young thomas diamond auto /33
only reason I picked up the auto is I have NEVER seen Ryan inscribe with Ryan Express. Ive seen some where he inscribed hof or hof and year but neveer like this so I thought it was a cool piece to pick up

Also picked up 3 T206 not sure why I did but I was bored
Cy Young portrait PSA 1
Rube Marquard hands at thighs psa 2
Fred Snodgrass batting psa 2

I dont think its ruined. To be honest there are tons of autograph mantle balls out there. Finding one really isnt all that hard or expensive ( a couple hundred bucks around 350-400 I believe can get you a psa dna certified one. If it was like a major major hard to find auto of a old timer like cobb or so on then yeah its ruined. But mnatle autos are not hard to get on baseballs

hmmm just called UD and when I called they said they werent going to do anything about it. Their reasoning was that it was near impossible to be missing a card, and that they do not keep some cards back (which im pretty sure is a lie) but they finally told me to send it in and they will see wha tthey can do which means I am going to get 2 crap jerseys for a card that could be worth a whole lot more.

I used to feel the same way way back in the day. The forums are nice now just to see whats new in the hobby see who pulled what. If Im really interested in a card to save myself the hassle Id rather just buy then trade now cause some trades literally can take days to put together

Didnt videotape it but did open it at the shop and people saw it. Plus Im a Diamond CLub member so hopefully they just give me the benefit of the doubt. Normally wouldnt even complain cause sometimes u get shorted and sometimes u get extras but at 500 a pack and it missing one of the key cards Imma definently give them at least a call.

Broke a box today and best card was this

3/3
user posted image

also got a Dwight howard base card
Elton Brand dual jersey
Al Harrington gold base /25

Ok now my question is on the box it says 5 cards, but I only got 4??? So I was just screwed???? I know in the UD Cup hockey when there is a better card in the pack they put like a blocker of some kind on the bottom in the pack but the pack of exquisite I opened had 4 cards period. I think Im suppose to get a rookie auto patch a box but I ddint????? Not sure if you opened Exquisite please let me know thanks

I know they say they pack exquisite by hand so maybe just human error?

Just thought of another one

Last years triple threads baseball. I was splitting a case with a friend so each box we would each get one pack you keep what you pull only thing we agreed on was if a bat barrell 1/1 got pulled we would split it. He literally pulled everything.

He pulled
Chien Ming Wang auto/3jsy 1/1 white whale soldat the time over $1000
triple auto hofers 1/1 white whale sold over $300
2 mantle pieces each sold like $120-150
literally everything worth over $100 he pulled. I think my best card was a celemente triple jsy

Only thing that slightly made me feel better was he pulled the chipper jones bat barrel 1/1 and he had to split it with me

I say if you need to use some kind of instrument (flashlight scale bending the pack etc) that is without a doubt pack searching and is just plain wrong

If you open a box and get the hit out of your first couple of packs and stop that is NOT pack searching

If you notice a trend in a product (such as a certain pack in the right row 5th downor something) always has the hit and you only buy that pack it is not pack searching

Well admist all these great pulls ive gotten lately I can help but remember all the cards that could have been mine. Like products I would have cracked but was a minute too late or was indecisive and let someone else crack it.

Heres the two that I can remmebr (also the ones that hurt) the most.

First one was 2006 SP Legendary Cuts
I had been waiting for like a month for this product to come out cause back in 06 in my opinion Legendary cuts was great. I had just gotten a call from the shop that they had just gotten their case in and I jumped into the card and was headed to the shop. Stupidly I stopped to get gas first on my way there. When I get there I see a friend of mine already there opening it and as I walk in he pulls the Dimaggio dual cut (I cant remember who the other guy is but I want to say is was like maris or something). Needless to say I almost cried

Second one was 05 UD Ice
First off when Ice was released it was a HORRIBLE product. I cant even begin to describe how bad it was. I had split a case of it with a friend when the product first came out and we literally did not pull a card that booked over $60 out of a whole case. Th main chase cards were the Level 1 rookies which were like Crosby and Ovechkin but they were not even guarenteed 1 a case so they were near impossible to get. 6 months ago a dealer here in SD had gotten a sealed case of it and he offered itt o me and a friend to see if we wanted to split some boxes. My friend was up for it but I was heistant and passed. We were bad mouthing to product and the dealer decided to open one. First pack he pulls the Crosby rookie card which sells at like $2000.

Well those are my 2 horror stories. Lets hear yours!

yeah I almost cried as I clicked the send payment button. Ebay and paypal just take way too much in fees now. Theres a pretty good chance I may move over to Naxcom as long as they transfer feedback
