Hey everyone, so my buddy pulled this card last night from a box of 2011 Bowman Sterling. I'm more of a football guy so I don't really know much about baseball cards, but even I know that Bryce Harper is one of the hotter cards right now.

So it is a 2011 Bowman Sterling Canary Diamond Refractor Bryce Harper auto 1/1. My buddy has no real interest in selling the card, he is pretty excited to have pulled it... he just a bit more casual with BB card collecting and I only follow football so I told him I'd post it here to show it off and also to maybe get a ballpark on how nice of a pull this was.

Thanks all!

That's probably the top pull in all of Bowman Sterling. Would definitely be interested in acquiring it if he was looking to move it!

Wow Nice I'm green with envy. biggrin.gif

Yeah right no Bryce Harper is living up to his Phenom status. Fortunately for the Nats they had enough injuries to bring him up SUPER EARLY. I wanted them to wait till September at first (before Ryan Zimmerman's shoulder injury which prompted them to bring him up in April). Another super Phenom for the Nationals right now is Tyler Moore who was brought up about a week after Harper.

If you are desperate for $$$$$ then you can toss it up on Ebay and probably get almost any amount you ask. If not it is probably best to sit on it for a while.

[Dang I already had my birthday this year, maybe you could wrap it up for Christmas? laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif ]

Super card and fantastic pull...a little suggestion take it out of that screw down and soft sleeve and stick it in a one touch uv protected holder.....those are old screw downs and have had issues with them card separating and sticking......just a suggestion that would cost you what maybe 2 bucks and save your card.....Congrats on your pull it is a beaut!!!!

It's about the best pull you can get out of Sterling. My suggestion would be sell it now. Put a ridiculous price on it like 5 grand and take offers. I'm sure he'd get at least a grand for it and probably double that.

Thanks for the info and feedback everyone, neither my buddy nor I realized just how rare this card was until we saw the replies here! He is quite happy as you can imagine. He is a solid dude so I'm glad he got some good mojo!

Sell it now before the hype wears off, especially if he's looking to build his collection. He could buy a lot of really nice autos for just that one. Great pull!

pretty awesome, but if i were you, since he is slowly fading, i would either sell it NOW or sell it during the first round of the PLAYOFFS...it will always be worth some bid bucks, but RIGHT NOW is when you will get top dollar...

THAT IS, OF COURSE, IF HE DOESNT HIT LIKE 8 HOMERS IN A WORLD SERIES GAME lol
