My hockey collecting preferences have basically been Sabres and retired/HOF players, players who were still playing when i was a kid (early/mid/late 70's; Bossey/Esposito Brothers/Perreault/), so althought i don't have a list, i have a fair amount of auto/gu to deal. There is a small amout of this that can be found in my photobucket, so feel free to take a look.

Used to be a semi-regular here but life kind of gets you away from things. I haven't bought/traded anything new in several years but now that my nieces and nephews are old enough to appreciate the hobby, I'm looking to acquire some of the newer release products for them as well as for my personal collection, which I'm focusing on Sabres, mostly current but some past players in current releases (i.e. Danny Gare, Gil Perreault, Hawerchuck).

I'm at a point in my collecting that i'm not really adding to my collections and I need to thin out what I have. And truth be told, I need cash. I haven't sold anything with the one exception of a card that i had a cash offer on after i posted a box break here. I have bought on ebay but never sold on there, and before diving in to listing my goods, i'd like to hear some of the pros and cons of selling on there or listing things in the marketplace here.

The bulk of what i would like to put up for sale isn't the common jersy or auto card but rather some mid to higher "valued" items from the late 90's to mid 00's. As an example, a 99/00 Gretzky Greats of the Game auto/jersey /40. That is one of my higher valued pieces that i would be will ing to part with.

So, is there enough of a market on this board to test the sales waters or should i sell on ebay? Yes ebay gets more traffic, but who gets a better, more fair price?

While i have this in the hockey board, my collection is mostly hockey and baseball, with some football and very little basketball. Hockey and baseaball would be the prominent items up for sale.

I appreciate any comments and advise.

Lately when i click on someone's PB link in their sig, i get a new window to open with the url matching the link in the sig to the link in the address box, but the page never loads up, blank white screen, and if i click back to the TCC window, then back to the PB window, the address line is now the TCC site i just came from but the window remains white and i have to close it through my task manager.

even if i go to the PB site directly, i get the homepage fine enough, but if i want to do a search for an album by the user's name or even just a search for a player by name, the same thing happens.

This is on my work computer and never had issues before. Virus scans have not shown anything so i am wondering if my anit-viurs software is blocking the site from loading cuz it is detecting something. Can anyone offer an explanation?
